[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very fun game. It’s super easy to learn and the rules are very simple. It is good for all ages from 5 year and older I would say. It trains my kids to think critically and learns how to predict what will happen next. It is very good quality and comes with a velvety board with small drawers to put the the two sided discs which makes it perfect for travel. Even it says for two players we have formed two teams to make the kids to play together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family enjoys game night and we were happy to add a complimentary edition of Othello from Ravensburger to our collection of board games. This is an easy game to learn to play, it literally only takes a few minutes to read the entire instructions booklet and learn game play. The game itself is simple, be the player with the most pieces of your color on the board at the end of game to win. It is fun and challenging as it does take some strategy to beat your opponent. Game is made for 2 players, ages 8 years and up. This is a regular edition copy that looks more like a special edition copy, the board is felt covered and the pieces are a thick, durable plastic that neatly fit into retractable drawers on the sides of game board, it is very deluxe in appearance which my family appreciates! A great game for the money and fun for game nights, plus it doesn’t take hours to play. I definitely recommend Othello!

They have the slots slide in to keep the pieces when storing which is nice. My 5 year old was starting to get the game and liked it.

We never played Othello before so this was something new and definitely a different game compared to checkers or chess. The game is simple yet complex and full of depth. A great option for family game nights or picnics. The quality of game pieces is very strong, sturdy and durable with exceptional packaging, uncluttered and portable. Definitely recommend this for competitive and endless family fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, we’ve been playing this every single night since I got here. I remember Othello from my childhood -and this is a staple game. I really appreciate how it has little grooves between each space as I have an eight-year-old who likes to play as well and I don’t have to worry about her bumping the pieces out of place. Also life happens if it ever got bumped on the flat board style used it used to just get spread everywhere. This is fantastic and it has a very nice felt like finish on the game board and so easy to just jump in and play. Great beginner or family game idea or take on the go, also amazingly challenging for those who get really good at it too!

At first it seems really easy but in reality this fast-paced strategy game where you place your disk to enclose your opponent’s disk and work to take over the board is challenging! When you enclose your opponent’s disk, flip them over to your color – but look out! Your opponent is planning on doing the same to you. The lead can change with the flip of a disk in this classic game that my kids can’t get enough of. Love that it’s something simple that gets them off of their iPads and stimulates their mind. It’s also fairly portable and has a great design where the pieces are held in the board itself. Love love love this game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my favorite childhood board games. I played this endlessly when I was a kid. I haven’t played in so many years, but I picked up that little circle piece and started playing as if I never skipped a beat. The board has upgraded a bit and I have to say I absolutely love the changes. There are small ridges to keep the pieces in place so that the chips don’t slide around there’s also a tray that slides in to hold all of the pieces! The mild upgrades make this game even better. I’m so glad I was sent this game. It’s so addicting and fun!
