Ray Padula Xtreme Flex hybrid polymer garden hoses are one of the most flexible, premium duty garden hoses available today. Xtreme Flex is designed with a special blend of materials to completely eliminate kinking, twisting and bending during use. The lightweight, ultra-premium hose completely lays flat at all times. The all new extra-large Comfi-Grip swivel couplings allows for the easiest faucet attachment, even with wet or gloved hands. This coupling is designed with a full grip swivel eliminating the need for any tools to create a watertight connection at the faucet, while crush-proof couplings last season-after-season When it comes to a garden hose designed to withstand and perform in the harshest of conditions, both residential and commercial, look no further than a Ray Padula Xtreme Flex hybrid hose. These hoses are constructed of the toughest polymer materials allowing this hose to remain completely flexible in sub-freezing temperatures. This hose is definitely flexible, but 100% NOT kink free. It pinched on itself in multiple places, right out of the packaging. If it wasn't so much trouble, I would absolutely return it. Fortunately, it was on super sale.

The warning says to not drink from the hose. I will add, NO one should touch the hose or breathe the fumes from the hose. I have had the hose for months and still, as soon as I step out the back door I immediately smell its chemical/petroleum stink. After using the hose, my hands smell like chemical. It smells toxic and this makes hand watering the garden an anxious experience, not the usual relaxing one. Every time I move the sprinkler I come in and wash my hands. And I would certainly never expose children or pets to it. Anything that stinks like an oil refinery should not be brought home to your family.

From the other reviews, thought this was going to be a good hose. It is so soft it kinks constantly. The harder 'handles' at the ends allow the the hose to wobble- they are not secured to the metal ends. So very disapppointed, it will be returned ( just a fews days after receiving, so it is new, not old and wearing out).
