Upon first touch, I found the texture to be slightly rough on the skin. It’s not as cozy as I had hoped, especially for snuggling up on chilly evenings. However, I discovered that it serves as a great layering piece! When used over another softer blanket, it adds warmth without compromising comfort. The design is beautiful, making it a stylish addition to my living space. I appreciate its versatility; it works well as a throw for the couch or as a decorative accent in the bedroom. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited for this blanket, because I love the comfort of blankets and quality is very important to me. I was surprised when I opened it and the texture of the blanket was odd, but it’s a perfect fit for a bohemian lifestyle. This blanket folds up perfectly for car rides, picnics, etc. This blanket is worth much more than the price and I recommend getting this high quality Tommy Bahama Cotton Blanket.

BUT...there were too many places in the blanket that were defective. It is the perfect weight with a tight weave for the cover on a platform cot I'm making into a sofa. I need something that is not too soft, and this is it. I even had pillow shams that coordinated perfectly. I'd order another one (and I just might), but I'm afraid they would all be the same. If there were a lot of reviews, I would be more or less optimistic. I wish I could call the company and have them look them over and send me one that is not defective!!

This bed blanket is really pretty, but it was not what I was expecting from 100% cotton. I imagined a soft feel. It is quite the opposite. Even after washing, it was stiff and scratchy feeling. It might work better as a coverlet.

This is a beautiful blanket. The color is true to the picture, kind of a sand beige. I like that it is cotton and breathable. It does have some weight to it which I really like. It’s not lightweight and flimsy. I washed in cold water and dryer on low. Didn’t seem to shrink.
