It was nice for like a week…. The bottom piece fell off from my son dropping it and that exposes the lead in the cup. Also the straw started falling apart and I’m pretty sure my son swallowed silicone. I had to cut the rest out…. NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN / TODDLERS

This cup is in fact leak proof they did not lie. But, if there’s any tampering at all with the top of the straw part it most likely will leak. It’s hard to avoid that when you have kids they are so rough lol. Ours has the smallest tear and now leaks through the straw but it doesn’t bother me so we still use it. It’s definitely leak proof but not kid proof!

I’ve had these for just over 4 months before the flaps inside the straw stared deteriorating. My toddler is not even a “chewer” so it’s not like she was gnawing on them but she did use them as her go to water cup everyday during that 4 months. The cup is awesome, would even give it back a star or two if there were replacement straws available for purchase.

I didn’t read the reviews before buying but it is true the straw comes apart and your child could be swallowing the material!! i just happened to look down the straw after screwing the top on to see missing pieces. Terrible.

Do not buy. The inside of the silicone straw tore on the third use. No I have to call the pediatrician about my 2 or 1 year old ingesting silicone. I’m very frustrated about this. I hand wash everything with cool water and air dry. I can believe this low quality product. Please avoid this. Look for straws that don’t have a thin film inside.

This works really well for my 11 month old. He started using it soon after he turned 6 months old. Only thing I’m not a fan of is that it is not made to survive a tumble off his high chair. He dropped it from his high chair at daycare and a chunk of plastic from the lid broke off.

I bought this cup about 3 months ago and within 1 week of owning the cup, my 2 1/2 year old bit through the straw. While I don't necessarily expect soft straws to withstand sharp toddler teeth, it sure would be nice if a company that makes children's products would anticipate this, and therefore provide replacement straws for their cups. Unfortunately, the company has failed to supply replacement parts for this cup. I saw two reviews on this cup, one from 6 months ago, and one from 3 months ago, complaining about the lack of replacement straws as well, and the RePlay company replied to both of those reviews stating that they were working on getting replacement parts made, and the parts would be available in the coming months. Hopefully, since it's been at least 6 months since their response to one review, this means that these replacement straws will be available soon.

Even being with hand washed, the bottom of the cup fell off in 4 days. Honestly this would have been the best. But that issue showed the quality. I did not want to hold on to something like that.

Love the cup but after speaking with company apparently the straws aren’t all the same size. As I bought a pink cup and loved it so I bought two blue cups only to find out the straw is much longer then the pink cup I bought. So be aware if you buy a different color there is a chance the straw will be longer.

Thank you so much for your review. The straw on the Bubblegum, Lavender, & Lime Green Mini Tumblers are slightly smaller than the straw on the Ice Blue Mini Tumbler as it was recently redesigned. They are the same great quality straw, just slightly shorter.
