Book Synopsis

As one third of the iconic original line-up of the Sugababes, Mutya Buena was at the heart of a pop-schism that rocked the noughties.

In this bare-all memoir, we're taken through Mutya's spectacular career, from forming the group at thirteen and leaving amongst a flurry of rumors, to embarking on a solo career and the group's triumphant return to the music scene.

From the highs of topping the charts and working with music royalty to the lows of post-natal depression and tabloid drama, Mutya speaks about the some of her brightest and darkest moments for the very first time.

So often mis-judged by the press, Real Girl is Mutya Buena's story on her own terms.
