Good and large
I have bought Now products and believed them to be very good vitamins. the problem with this particular pill, and why I give it a four, is the size, the thing is over an inch long, and thick. So, I really have to gulp, and I worry it will get stuck. the pill needs to be smaller, at least 25 percent smaller. I had rather take two half the size and not choke to death . And, since it is soo big, I won't be buying these again. There is a picture of the hugeness of these pills but it is on the side of the bottle, where you can't see it in the above picture. Some savvy marketing. So, buyer beware, if it doesn't bother you I know this is a great reliable brand.

This is economical because it contains twice the amount of most red yeast rice pills. However, the extremely large pill is quite hard to swallow.

Huge Tablet
I agree with another reviewer that these tablets are too large. I was able to swallow them, but some people would not be able to. My holistic doctor told me to take two 1200 mg twice per day. It's just too much with these huge tablets. I will order less mg. and take more to avoid these over-sized tablets.

Could not swallow
I purchased this product because my doctor told me to take Red Yeast Rice 1200mg. These pills were so long and so THICK that I could not swallow them. I even bought a pill cutter and cut them in 1/2 and they still got stuck in my throat and it hurt the side of my throat where they were lodged. I tried cutting them length wise and that made them crumble. I sent them back to Swanson.
