Irritated stomach
I tried Berberine as I read all the benefits it can provide in overall health but mainly sugar levels reduction. I had to stop taking it after a week as it gave me horrible stomach irritation. I tried taking it with food and same result. Unfortunately this brand is not for me.

Large pills

Overall the bottle and packaging was a nice design and I would be interested in trying other supplements they produce that have more research behind them. They had no taste.

Large pills, but no bad taste

The pills are large, but they don’t have a terrible taste like some supplements do - they don’t really taste like anything. I like that they are made from natural ingredients. As a book lover, I do love the packaging it comes in, but I wouldn’t buy it purely for this reason. No complaints! 👍🏼

You have to take it after a meal which I forget to do with any vitamin. I have tried a dose and the taste is not bad and the pills are not hard to swallow. The packaging was really cute and the bottle is thick and sturdy. My main reason for taking these is that it supports weight lost and lowers blood sugar

Supplements that work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vitamins are a tricky thing to review, especially if the results are not a change in how you feel. The New Chapter Berberine supplement, if you read up on it, has many benefits. The effectiveness I feel can only be seen in blood work showing an improvement in cholesterol, heart health, etc. I found that, initially when taking with food first thing in the morning that I had an empty, hungry feeling all day long. After changing the time I took the supplement, I found I no longer had that side effect. I would suggest consulting with your doctor and track what benefits this supplement might have.

High quality vitamins worth trying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only been taking this for a week, so I cannot speak to efficacy, as impacting heart health and cholesterol would require months of use. That being said, I possibly noticed it helping with blood sugar. The pills are large, so I deducted a star for this dark glass packaging is high quality and helps keep the vitamins fresh. No taste to the pills and despite the large size, they go down easily. I think this is worth trying if you’re looking for a natural alternative to manage blood sugar and cholesterol. High quality brand.

Has potential but you really need to take a while

The packaging is nice I like that the bottle is glass over plastic. As far as value goes, it seem pretty comparable to other supplements with you getting a 30 day supply. Excellent blood sugar results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just to be clear, none of this is medical advice: I'm a Type One diabetic who hears a lot about supplements that may or may not be effective for diabetics of any kind. I've heard good things about berberine from other type ones and am pleased to say I actually saw a positive influence on my blood sugar after meals with this! I don't really struggle with insulin resistance but taking a daily dose has lowered my daily average blood sugar about twenty points and I'm much more stable over night. The tablets go down easy with water. I did have an upset stomach for a day or two that luckily went away quickly but otherwise am very pleased with berberine.

Made from all natural ingredients in the US, I have high hopes! The pills are a little bulky I must admit which is why I gave four stars instead of five. I’ve also heard that berberine is used for weight loss and maintenance! For that reason alone, I am excited to be trying them.
