Redmond Rock Single Rock-Wrapped - 7 LB

My horse loves these. I keep one in his feed bin at all times. I like it because it’s natural and the size is good. Large enough that the weight keeps it in place but not too big that it takes up too much space.

My horse loves these! I tie them in his stall as soon as he lets me in after licking it for 2 solid minutes while I'm still in the doorway!

I bought the 7lb block to keep outside in my horse's paddock 24/7. Instructions say "feed free-choice year round". The surface is crumbly and rough, not smooth, with chunks sticking out, spilling onto the holder (see photo). My horse is not interested in putting her tongue on that! Company claims "will not dissolve".

Arrived safe and sound. Horses have taken to it I exactly what I wanted.

Giant rock at a good value — however there is no string, which I did not realize until it arrived. (Maybe it says this in the product description and I missed it?) I just stuck it in a small ground feeder and dump the accumulated shavings out daily. Not sure what to do as it gets smaller though... probably will not buy 7lb size again for this reason.

My mare absolutely loves this salt on the rope. It doubles as a toy !!

This was the first one I've bought for my horse. I wanted to give him something besides his salt lick. He seems to enjoy it more than the salt. Will buy again

I ran out of the Himalayan salt and my friend gave me one of her Redmond rocks. My horse loved it and chased it out of the pan and all over stall for a few weeks. Thats why I got more.

Love that this salt and mineral rock is easy to hang, lasts forever, and my horse loves it!

My horses are enjoying this salt block. Seems to have good role as the colt bangs it around but it stays secure.

I bought this about a month ago and my mare has done some damage on this salt block! I love how its all natural Himalayan salt and string comes preattached- it can be quite a struggle to hang up salt blocks. I will repurchase all year around as it's recommended to have a salt block as well as electrolytes in their diet.

I want the best for my horse. Saw a lengthy YouTube ad about how this is better than a Himalayan salt lick. I figured I would give this a try. My horse didn't even touch it. Had to swap it out back to the Himalayan one. This rock salt is too course and rough!

I just purchased a Redmond salt block for my horse. He is pretty picky and have never seen him touching his salt block, but he seems to like this one! Bonus features is that it is filled with minerals!

My mare refuses normal salt blocks, whether red or white, and isn't that fond of himalayan salt blocks. But she loves this rock! I was very surprised but happy to find a salt block she will actually lick. They aren't very durable to the rain though, so be sure to keep this dry.

I like that the salt rock is ACTUALLY MINED in the USA, not just packaged, etc. in the USA!

I have been purchasing the Himalayan salt licks for my horses for a couple years, but even though they really like them, they don’t last very long. When I saw the Redmond Rock, I knew I had to try them with my horses. I worried that my one gelding would eat the whole thing in one night as he has done with previous products, but he only eats about the same amount as the other horses. I will continue to purchase these “Rocks” for my 4 horses.

I've put out regular salt licks and they sat around until the weather took them. Put this one out and horses are out licking it everyday!
