Reduce 10oz Invasion Food Storage Container

It keeps for hot for long periods of time which is great for kids at school. It can be used for things like soup, noodles, mac and cheese, even chicken nuggets. Just get the metal hot enough and it'll keep it warm.

Actually returned this because it was too small for a good ms lunch but also because it would not keep the food as warm as we wanted. If used as directed (warm the container first) it would have been fine but I have a short window so that was not going to happen. Bought the Fig Mint container instead.

The only thing is its ability to keep things hot/cold is not as good as i had hoped. It has a nice spill proof vent on the top that helped his nuggets from getting over soggy. I would buy again. I have used it for macaroni n cheese, soup and spaghetti! This brand is very comparable to thermos brand and even Stanley! The design is one of my favorite parts. I can send things like pasta, soup, or other warm food without having to worry about them getting cold by lunchtime. The pattern is SO cute, which makes my kids want to use it for their food. It also is the right size for packing in their lunch boxes. I will likely purchase more patterns.

He's able to open and close it himself, and despite being a picky eater, he usually eats the entire thing! We've noticed these are also easier to clean than other brands that we have tried.

It's a great size, and I love that it has the option of holding hot or cold foods, so it's really versatile. The print is really cute too! My son loves the galaxy design! I will say that it is a little tricky for my 5 year old to close it on his own - it can be tough for him to line up the lid just right. But once the lid is on, it feels very secure!

It's easy to clean. The colors doesn't fade easy to fit in the lunch bag for my kid, easy to pack away and Easy to clean. Great buy!

Tested this out with scrambled eggs. 90 minutes later they were steaming still. Perfect to prepare breakfast for a daily commute. Also keeps my fruit cold when I throw a few ice cubes in. And the ice is not melted. Would absolutely recommend for lunches and snacks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] thought this food jar was good overall compared to some others we've tried, but I was a little disappointed with how long it kept food actually hot. I tried it with things like mac & cheese and chicken nuggets. The food stayed soft, edible, and didn't get hard or dried out, which was definitely a plus, but by lunchtime it was more warm/lukewarm than hot. I would put the food in around 8:00 AM and my child would eat lunch around 12:00 PM. I even preheated the jar by filling it with hot water and letting it sit for a few minutes before adding the hot food, but it still didn't stay as hot as I was hoping for. I do like the size and convenience, especially for packing a child's lunch, and I would consider buying or recommending it. I just wish I could figure out a way to keep the food hotter for the full four hours. If keeping food warm rather than piping hot is what you're looking for, it does a good job of that.
