Q: Is there away to get rid of the funky taste that this bottle has? I have washed it several times and it still adds a gross flavor to my water.

  • A: Hello, We’re sorry to hear that your bottle is retaining an unpleasant taste, even after being washed. We recommend trying one of the following cleaning methods to help remove any lingering odors or flavors: Add 2 teaspoons of baking soda to the bottle, fill it with warm water, and let it sit for several hours—or overnight for best results. Rinse thoroughly afterward and allow the bottle to air-dry completely with the lid off. You may also try a denture-cleaning tablet, such as Polident. Fill the bottle with warm water, add 1 tablet, and let it sit for 5–10 minutes. Empty the bottle, rinse it thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely without the lid. We hope one of these methods helps refresh your bottle. Please let us know if the issue continues after trying them.

Q: Does anyone know why the lid is in 2 parts? I'm not understanding the reason or function behind having the lid screw apart in 2 different places. Seems like more opportunities for leaks. Please help!

  • A: Hi there! The lid of our bottle has an "Inner Thread" design, which means the threads that connect the lid to the bottle are on the inside. The Tritan plastic bottle is made with outer-facing threads because of the special Injection-Blow manufacturing process. To maintain a sleek design, we created a "collar" that connects the lid to the bottle. This collar attaches to the bottle's outer threads and doesn't need to be removed unless for a deep clean. The lid can be easily removed from the top of the collar whenever you need to. We hope this helps!

    Threw away after a week

    The silicon plug fell out and was lost instantly. Emailed the brand to buy a replacement, but they only sell the whole lid for the same price as a new bottle. this thing went in the trash and they wouldn’t help. The brand name is Reduce, but they don’t live up to the name. Very fake.

    Best affordable proof water bottle

    I purchased two of these water bottles for my two school aged kids and Love them! They dont leak and they are durable. There are 3 seals that must be in place or other wise they will leak. The seal on the cap removes easily for cleaning. I will be buying more.

    Seal came off and leaked

    I loved this water bottle for a month and then the middle seal came off. I could get it back and it was not usable because it leaked all over after that. I really wished it was better, because the appearance is nice.

    Sturdy overall but awful design to use.

    Our son’s school no longer allows metal water bottles so we tried these and he hates them. While they are sturdy and have not broken, the bottle is constantly falling over at his desk. The weight isn’t distributed well and is too top heavy. And what’s with the useless middle extra seal? The bottle still dribbles a small leak when it topples over, even when locked. You have to keep it perfectly still and upright all the time. And it has terrible condensation if you have any ice cubes at all. Looking for an alternative for next year.
