The surface coatings, plastics, silicone, and stainless steel used in our products are made without lead. Consistent with industry practices, lead is contained in the solder we currently use to seal the vacuum insulation of our stainless-steel drinkware. Additionally, the solder injection point on our Trek Tumbler is completely covered by a welded, stainless-steel barrier which is further covered by a durable surface coating to avoid customer contact and, most importantly access to the inside of the vessel which will contain your beverage. Simple Modern’s processes are safe and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements. Notably, all Simple Modern products and materials are subject to independent, third-party testing for regulatory compliance regarding lead. I hope this answers your question.
