The pb lava (chocolate or jelly) ratio is off
As much as I rallied for PB&J I even wrote the corporate office as a flavor suggestion The new lava cups are a little disappointing The peanut butter to chocolate or peanut butter to jelly ratio is off You can't really taste them You put a sliver of it in there in the peanut butter as much as I love the peanut butter overtakes anything else so I think they need to try again and maybe go 50/50.

How does this have 4 stars?
So, I shouldn't complain. I knew the Lava Big Cup would disappoint me. All the Big Cup flavor variations do. Nothing will ever top classic Reese's cup flavor. Alas, I'm Reese's obsessed and must try them all. I use online locators to find which stores stock the latest flavor, then make a special trip to buy them. Reese's knows this, so they keep making them in weirder and weirder flavors. So far, the Lava is the worst. Dark brown goo oozing from the bottom of my beloved Big Cup. Doesn't taste like chocolate. Doesn't taste like anything really. Just a texture nightmare for the texture sensitive. Ate half with the 'proprietary' mystery goo, then lopped the bottom off the other half. For one-half Reese's bliss, 2 stars rather than one.

Disappointing
Thought it might be good, but it wasn't. No chocolate flavor and weird texture and the artificial sweetener didn't help. I'll just stick with the regular Reese's cups.

Disappointing lava
The new lava layer does not add anything to the candy bar. The lava has little chocolate flavor. It tastes like slightly chocolate flavored oil. Regular Reese's is my favorite candy. I'll skip the lava bars from now on

I think they’re amazing. I don’t understand the reviews saying they taste the same as the regular ones and it really doesn’t, it’s a lot more chocolatey which I loveeeeee. And it sucks cause I know these are limited time :(

Bought new lava cups for wife very disappointed hardly any “liquid “ inside. Nothing near what see in adds. Again very disappointing will not buy again.

Skip this Version and get the Caramel Version Instead
Eh, not that good. I had to try the chocolate lava version after the caramel version was soooooo good. The chocolate lave is kinda a waste as it just blends in with the other chocolate flavor. The cups just taste a lil more chocolatey than usual.

Tastes the same as a regular peanut butter cup
I was excited to finally find a Lava peanut butter cup to try. I was hoping for a more liquid chocolatey experience and I hardly noticed the lava. Thankfully the classic peanut butter Chocolate flavor didn’t disappoint.
