A: Hi - it does not ship as shown, there is some light assembly you have to do to put together the table, lamp pole, and then place the shade on top. It's pretty simple to do, however, and does not require much time. Hope that helps! Thank you for your question.

It's just a plank of wood with some cherry stain slapped on it. The edges aren't detailed in any way and the finish is rough with no depth. The only reason I rated it as high as I did was because it was cheap and I knew what to expect.

I liked the tables size. It had the drill holes on the wrong side of the table leg. I guess I could have sent it back but kept it and turned it around. Then had to brace the shelves with liquid cement type stuff. Wanted to buy another one but the price has gone up $50

The holes did not line up for the screws and we had to bend things to put it together. Also the wood was chipped in 3 places.
