Works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used an epilator before so I was pretty excited to try this out. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to operate and it was quite easy and straightforward once I got a hang of it. It was able to remove most of my hair (I was using it on my legs) with only a few missing hairs, I just have to go back and run it over again. Overall, I'm impressed with the performance of this device, the only complaint I have is the cleaning part, it could be tricky trying to remove all the hairs from the device.

Unable to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was intimidated to use it just by the look of it, but I went for it. I can say that at first touch it hurt, and I gave up. There are only two speeds which are too fast in my opinion. I think there should be a third speed very slow for beginners but then maybe it won't pull the hairs out as intended. This was not for me I will continue to use razors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Remington Smooth & Silky Essential Epilator is what you need for unwanted hair removal. At first, the epilator takes a while to get used to it. It can be a bit uncomfortable, but stick with it and you’ll love your results. I definitely do not have to shave my legs as often and they feel soft and smooth for weeks. I find I use the epilator mostly for my legs but have tried armpits- just pull your skin tight. The epilator has 40 tweezers so it works quickly. Head is removable for easy cleaning. If you’ve never tried an epilator, it takes some time to get use to it, but the Remington Smooth & Silky is a great tool for creating long lasting silky, smooth legs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so i tried this on my arm just to see what it did and it didnt hurt or anything and i went to use on my legs and it hurt 10 times worse than plucking i dont really have sensitive skin and i have a higher pain tolerance so i was kinda shocked by how much it actually hurt i probably will not be using this specific product again ill stick to razors i just hate shaving every couple of days

Slows hair growth

The compact size makes it easy to store away as well. After a few uses, the hair starts growing back finer and more sparse, which has been great. The more you use it, the slower the hair grows back which is also ideal. Overall, excited to keep using this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is literally a godsend. I was scared at first thinking it was going to hurt, but it was honestly pretty painless. It wasn't too bulky and I was easily able to maneuver it in my hand. It worked with my body contour and I was able to get anywhere.. and everywhere. I didn't notice any hair growth until about the 2 week mark and I noticed some prickly, but definitely prefer this over shaving and waxing. I didnt get any nics on any place that I used this - although my underarms were a little more sensitive than legs, but it was not painful.

I have a decent pain tolerance and this epilator isn't really painful to me; more so on my forearms than anywhere else. It's definitely intimidating at first but once you get used to it it's fine. The only reason I dropped a star is because you have to be pretty careful because while the instructions says that it'll stop if you press too hard it can actually get stuck on your skin; again it's not painful just a little shocking when it happens. It would probably help if there was some kind of safety to let you know how far to stay away from the skin. Overall though I actually really like using it and have definitely noticed my hair doesn't grow back as fast.

The hairs don’t grow back for a good month either so I’m happy. I don’t like waxing or shaving and have always preferred epilator for hair removal as it’s so easy and mess free.
