Q: Digging the hole for the sleeve is 24” down, how big of a radius does it need to be for the gravel and concrete? I assume I receive my post, there will be instructions for all that.

  • A: We recommend a 9 inch radius from the middle of the pole to the edge of the hole, meaning an 18 inch diameter hole.

Q: I moved to a new home. How can I contact the manufacture to order another ground sleeve?

  • A: As the hammock poles are packaged and sold as a kit, the only way to have just the ground sleeve sent to you would be to open up a kit resulting in the rest of the kit being unsaleable. Therefore, unfortunately you will need to order an entire new kit to get what you are looking for.

Q: How difficult is it to insytall? do you need cement?

  • A: It is as difficult as digging a hole, and if desired, mixing and pouring concrete. Concrete is not required, but may be desired for a more stable base.

Q: I see that the pole is 76.5 in tall but how much of that is above ground once its anchored?

  • A: The smaller pole that goes into the ground is 24 inches. When the upper pole part is inserted it should leave roughly 52 inches above the ground.

missing instructions

I haven't even gotten to test it yet, as it came with no instructions. I can't find any anywhere online, so now I have a post with no instructions. That's a big bummer.

This works perfectly for what we needed. Attached one side of the hammock to a tree and used this pole for the otherside. It is strong and does not bend. Only problem is it arrived with the black top cap smashed and broken off.
