Beekeepers Bee-ware
I bought two W-H-Y traps hoping to combat paper wasps. One is about 150 yards from my beehives and the other 200 yards. I have caught two wasps and numerous honeybees. As someone who sells and recommends bee safe products, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend these traps to beekeepers.

doesn't work
This is the second time I've tried this trap and it doesn't work. Last time I got one single yellowjacket and several flies. This time the pests seem to avoid it at all cost. They hover around and fly away. Meanwhile, they SWARM my hummingbird feeder(part of the reason for trying the trap) which is nothing but sugar water. I've even removed the hummingbird feeder, but they won't touch the WHY trap. Really frustrating. I think I'll empty the trap and fill it with sugar water and see if I get better results.

Catch and release
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. It has only been moderately successful. I've caught more with my modified pop bottle. Many wasps have escaped from the bottom cone. Fly around climb up the cone to the top go down the hole and escape out the bottom holes. There has to be a better design that will not allow them to go back down the inside of the cone.

Disappointed
I bought this last week and followed directions carefully and hung it in my mother’s garage on her farm. Her garage has numerous wasps flying around. Went back 5 days later and not a single one was in the trap. Was very disappointed. $15 wasted.

defective contents
attractant vial was full of a silicone substance that wouldn't allow attractant to be added. Green attractant tube is not a tube that when opened spills everywhere.

not working
I bought three traps last year and they worked fantastic. Caught hundreds of wasps and yellow jackets. this year all traps placed in the same location I'm working on the third recharge or refill and the traps have not caught anything, maybe a moth or two. There are many wasps and yellow jackets in the area but they're not attracted to the trap. It's like the repellent is not effective.

Doesn’t seem to work
Bought this trap from Home Depot. Assembly and direction pretty straightforward. Moved around the yard daily as it didn’t catch anything or trap until the 3 rd day and then it caught a yellow jacket in lower chamber… the next morning it was gone. I have the Rescue trap for yellow jackets only and it works unbelievable… this one not so much

Product failure
I bought this trap and within a week I saw 4 wasp in the lower portion of the trap. With in a day I had only 2 left in the trap. The other 2 had escaped. It says they are only good for 2 weeks. The top have have only caught 1 insect. Witha week the trap has only caught 2 wasp or yellow jackets. My wife said we are not buying anymore. She purchased borax, apple juice, mixed it in a milk jug.

Most ineffective outdoor tool ver
I bought one of these a couple of years ago and caught no wasps. I tried the trap and lures once, bought another refill and still nothing. I bought more refills this year and still have wasps buzzing around!

Hornets Excaped
I hung this outside one of my windows after setting up per the directions. The next day there were 3 hornets in the trap. The day after that, none.

Very disappointed
I have used other Rescue Insect Traps for years with much success, however, this one fell flat. It does nothing to attract wasps, hornets or yellow jackets.

They don't work anymore
I brought two W-H-Y traps several months ago in early spring and up to now even with following the loading instruction THEY DON'T WORK ANYMORE. What did you people change the formula , or dilute it just to save money. Both of my traps don't work at all!!!!

Does not work well
I have had this trap one week and have trapped about 12 wasps. I have a koi pond and it naturally attracts wasps to get drinks or eat something. At any time there are about 4 dozen wasps around. This year they seem to annoy me more than previous years so I bought a trap. Caught only twelve in a week. 6 normally drown per week. It is almost useless. At this rate I might just as well wait for winter temperatures to lessen the wasp population what a waisted purchase
