Revlon Glimmer Liquid Shadow - Shimmer Eyeshadow - 0.10 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give this product three stars mostly because it is just okay. I'll go over the positives first - I liked the color. The size of the glitter pieces are a great size so you don't have the chunky glitter effect. There was no gritty texture. The packaging has a clear tube so you can see the color, which is helpful. The length of the wand was a bit long, but felt sturdy. I felt as if the product closed securely, which is important for a liquid product. After application you have probably 10 seconds to move the product around before it is dry. Though I did not have too much of a problem blending the edges. Next are the negatives. Back to blending - I did notice that after the product was mostly dry, sometimes it didn't blend so much as it just disappeared. There may only be a limited amount of time to blend the edges before the product will just flake off. The doe foot applicator was a problem. I have never seen one as fuzzy as this! If you want to have precision application, use another brush or your finger to pick up product from the applicator. If you do use the applicator it comes out streaky and uneven. It took a little bit of finessing to get an even application. I think there are better liquid eyeshadow products out there and I would not purchase any additional colors. The glitter makes it chunky and hard to smooth out across the eyelid. I think this would probably layer better with a regular powder shadow underneath or else it comes out patchy. I would probably reach for this a makeup for a rave or costume party but not an everyday staple

It’s so easy to blend, pigmentation is RICH, the consistency is pretty solid. I would definitely go and buy the rest of the colors because this is comparable to higher end liquid eyeshadows!

It’s a gray colored shadow, but packed with tons of rainbow glitter. It’s really fun to use for a night out on the town. It lasted all night. I can’t wait to buy more colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the chance to try out the Revlon Glimmer Liquid Shadow thanks to Influenster, who sent it to me complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I’ll be real—liquid shadows can be a little hit or miss for me, but this one definitely leaned more toward the “hit” side. First off, the packaging is super sleek and convenient. It’s compact enough to toss in my bag without worrying about it breaking or spilling. The applicator is basically foolproof—you can swipe it right on the lid and blend it out with either a brush or your finger, and it still looks good. The formula itself is lightweight and not sticky, which I appreciate because some liquid shadows feel heavy or tacky on the eyes. The shimmer payoff is gorgeous. It catches the light really nicely without being over-the-top glittery, so you can wear it during the day for a little sparkle or build it up for a more dramatic night-out look. I also liked that it layered well over a matte shadow—it didn’t clump or get patchy, which can be an issue with some liquid products. That being said, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because of wear time. On me, it lasted a good 5–6 hours before I noticed some creasing. It’s easy for everyday wear. Only con is: it doesn’t last too long on my oily eyelids. Wear time is 2-3 hours max without primer and less is you have the tendency to rub your eyes.
