Q: Are these liners also freezer safe? (Looking to freeze cooked meat in the liner, thaw in fridge, then put straight into Crock Pot to heat.)

A:Â Successful freezing depends on using a quality wrapping material and proper wrapping techniques that force out as much air as possible. If air collects between the food and wrapping material, the air draws moisture causing freezer burn (grayish white areas on the food's surface). For this reason, we do not recommend using Reynolds Kitchensâ„¢ Slow Cooker Liners for freezing.

A:Â Reynolds Kitchensâ„¢ Slow Cooker Liners should not be used under the broiler, in multi-cookers, on top of the range, in conventional ovens, on barbecue grills, in toaster ovens, in countertop electric roaster ovens, with racks, or as boiling bags. The possibility of exposing the bag to the heating elements or to heat extremes makes these cooking methods unacceptable for slow cooker liners.

A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liners. Our liners fit 3 to 6.5 quart round and oval slow cookers. We do not recommend using this product in smaller slow cookers.

These are fantastic to help cut down cleaning time. Inevitably, when cooking with a crockpot, you’ll get a crusty ring that can be hard to scrub off and these prevent that! We’ve used several times and not had any burning issues or problems at all. The con is that they are unnecessary waste that will live in our landfills for hundreds of years.

A bit large for my crockpot but the extra just hangs over the sides not really an issue. Seems to work well for 8-12 hr crock-pot cooking. Once removed usually just a quick wipe-down of the crock pot and I can easily remove the bag with all the contents of my recipe with one hand. Would recommend for ease of cleaning.

Game-changer for the Crock Pot. It encourages me to use my slow cooker more because I don’t have to leave the ceramic insert soaking in the sink for three days to get it clean. I recently received a crock-pot for Christmas, and I was so excited to purchase these bags since they look so handy! I used one for the first time I used my crock-pot and when I went to clean up, the bag had leaked. I thought maybe something got in between the bag and the crock-pot pot. I recently used a second bag and the same thing happened! I am so bummed that they didn't work as well as I thought it would. (Picture is of the leakage left in my crock-pot)
