Q: Each shelf can only support 20 pounds. Yet in the description it states that it can hold 200 pounds. SO which is it? How much weight can this unit support both in total and on each shelf?

Love the wood used for this, although the color varies a bit in person and can look a bit darker. In direct light it looks closer to the pictures, but either way it looks very nice. You definitely feel the weight of that beauty with how heavy it is too. Relatively easy for two people to put together, and would be doable for a single person (moving it would be the hardest part). Only complaint is that the top shelf has very slightly sagged from the weight of a 55" tv, but it's only noticeable if you're looking very closely and at eye level. Looks straight from a sitting distance though, so still 5 stars from me.
