Misleading Page Count and Reduced Quality - Target Version Falls Short
The product listing claims "150 Pages" but this journal actually contains only 100 pages (see photos for verification). I've included a comparison with a Rifle Paper Co journal I purchased directly from them a year ago, and the differences are apparent. The Target version is noticeably not as thick and they don't turn as smoothly as the red notebook. I'm uncertain whether Rifle Paper Co has changed their manufacturing standards across the board, or if Target is selling a lower-quality version of their journals. While the Target price is $3 cheaper, you're getting 50 fewer pages, inferior quality and no fancy folder pocket or gold foil. The cost savings don't justify the reduction in both quantity and quality.
