Excellent movie that brought me back to my childhood! My 6-year old son who loves baseball wants to watch it anytime it's a raining outside since we can't get out and play baseball on those days. Highly recommend this movie!!

You will either like it or you won't
It's a movie. For most of us it will be a walk down memory lane. A time from our past that we are trying to recapture by sharing this movie with our offspring. Never mind the questions about what they are wearing, or the Google searches on the medical impracticality of what happens to the young lad. The debunking of the made up scenarios, traditions and hilarity that ensues as not being real. We are after all a generation obsessed with light sabers trying to show the youth of tomorrow how one can indeed simply enjoy what fame was like BEFORE You Tube and Twitter. If you are still reading this review please note that I still have the movie in its cellophane yet to be digested by my sons, and no I do not mean eaten in the literal sense of the word. The plain fact of the matter is that you, the viewer of said movie, will either like it or you won't. I clearly have too much time on my hands on my lunch breaks.

great family movie
I have owned this movie since I had VHS about 22 years ago. This is a very good family movie and start your children and grand children out early, watching good movies as a family.
