It is made very cheap and broke upon arrival.

The wooden dowels were missing, had to purchase from my local hardware store. The quality of wood is awful, the table chipped off from multiple places while setting up. It was a nightmare setting it up. Don't want to go through the hassle of returning such a heavy item, hence keeping it.

Not that hard to put together, but stickers provided to cover the holes where the screws are that hold it together, MAKING IT VERY CHEAP LOOKING. If I had known this, I would have NEVER purchased it. I would really like it other than the stickers.

Stylishly ersatile and useful

First, I am one who usually gives 5 for everything, but I just cannot this time. It has been VERY difficult to assemble and I’ve put many pieces of furniture together with few problems. I have already spent over three hours and cannot get even leverage to get even first screw tightened and there’s about 19 more. It’s still in pieces now in my living room and feel I’ll never be able to get it assembled. I would not buy in retrospect knowing how hard it is to put together. It looked cool in the online picture though.. Due to not even being able to assemble this, I marked the others lower than I typically do.

Can't really beat it for the price. It was an average level or difficulty to put together. Assembly always takes time. The parts were all there and everything lined up.

Great looking table, I was a bit intimidated when I started unpacking it to build but it was really easy and it looks/functions great. Tip do not use the Allen key they provide because it will tear your fingers apart get a bigger one that you can grip easier.

I really like the coffee table. It does take a little while to put together but use a power tool with a hex bit and it’s so much easier. Nice table for the price

Overall, this is a beautiful piece of furniture and is a steal for the price and quality. As others have mentioned, assembly is a little tedious, but it's due to the nature of the design and is totally worth it. Imagine having to actually make 4 crates-- every single slat and panel is an individual piece. However, it's not a confusing or advanced skill-level assembly. After you make the first crate, the rest are easy to duplicate and link together in a few minutes. Like most self-assembly furniture, having an electric screw-driver or a ratcheting screwdriver with an allen wrench bit is very handy and will save you many hand cramps! The package was double boxed, and even within the second box, packed with plenty of foam. No scratches or dings even though the external box got beat up a little in shipping. It's only been in use for a little over a week, but my cats have had a field days running and wrestling through the inside of the table-- and I have eaten on it and left behind plenty of glasses with condensation. No scratches, no rings, and it cleans easily. The wheels underneath let you have the convenience of moving it easily without ruining the look since they are far under. This is way better than your standard 4 legs and a top coffee table!

Once put together this table looks great but buyer beware. This table comes completely disassembled and has 40 screws that need to be screwed in with the junky Allen key provided. I had to go to the hardware store and get a bit for my electric screwdriver to complete the job otherwise I never would have got it together. Once together, it does look great but beware, it is a project.

Turned out great. Was assembled in about 1.5 hrs by people who don't ever build stuff. Screws require patience & endurance.

I purchased this coffee table a couple of weeks ago, and have really enjoyed its use since then. The corners and edges are a bit sharp, so I will occasionally bump it and surprise myself, but that's not a deal breaker for me. The middle section, with the inlaid compartment, is convenient for remotes and controllers. I also like that there's abundant space below, so I can store board games and coffee table books down there. I would absolutely recommend it, though should add that putting it together was definitely a two-person job that was difficult to do on my own.

Great purchase overall but was a bit difficult to put together. Took about 2 hours and our hands hurt afterwards. Recommend 2 people to put together. Looks really nice in our living room, and we don't regret buying it!

Waste of time putting this together. The bolts get stripped before you can even tighten them. Will be returning this product due to this reason. For the price the quality is lacking

The table is affordable and decent quality, while looking like a higher end piece of furniture. While I am generally pleased with my purchase, I'd note the following: -The color is slightly darker in person. -The smaller center piece that dips down (has a clock on it in the stock photos) is what I would consider unacceptably low quality. I would be afraid to put a full glass of water on the surface; it could fall through. -Finally, and most importantly, this was an utter nightmare to assemble. The instructions are simple enough, but it was a serious physical challenge. Nearly all of the screws have to be manually screwed in with an Allen key, and it's SO HARD to do. I put this together yesterday and my hands are covered in bruises and blisters. My boyfriend also tried, and described the activity as a death sentence. If you have a power drill that will fit the screws, I'm sure it would be significantly easier, but for a pretty cheap piece of furniture, you shouldn't need power tools to assemble it. I have assembled all of the furniture in my home, and this was by far the most painful thing I've had to do. Overall, this is a nice looking coffee table at a very reasonable price point, but I would suggest having a drill to put it together.

I love the look of this coffee table. However, the quality was so poor that I had to return it. There were chipped edges and the vainer was peeling off when we took it out of the box. I am really sad that I have to return this.
