Inspired by the Danish designs, the Roxy upholstered footstool is the perfect accompaniment to the Roxy high-back lounge chair, providing additional comfort to the elegant piece. Crafted of solid rubberwood in dark walnut finishing with gray fabric upholstery, a sophisticated look of the ottoman is formed. Featuring a concaved design in the middle of the ottoman, the Roxy promotes ultimate relaxation. Durable and functional, the piece reflects the Danish design principles of simple form and practical structure. Made in Malaysia, the Roxy ottoman requires assembly.

Q: The cushion that is supposed to be screwed into the legs/base does not have any holes to screw into. Am I required to drill holes first or is this a defect?

A: Hello Andrea, Please refer to your assembly instructions for assistance. If this ottoman has wooden screws, place the legs according to the assembly instructions and screw the wooden screws into the legs and the bottom of the cushion. If you need further assistance, please contact Target customer service.
submitted byProduct Expert - 6 years agoBrand expertA: My cushion did NOT have any holes as well and the screws they provided are way too short. I posted pictures so you can see it. The company who makes this ottoman should have holes already in the cushion for customers to screw the base to it. Also, they should have screws long enough for the base to be screwed into the cushion, but they don't. I am returning it.

Q: My cushion did NOT have holes to screw the base to it. Also, the screws were to short. Why are there no holes in the cushion so we can screw the base to it? Why are the screws too short?

So beautiful and rock solid!! Don’t hesitate to purchase if this one catches your eye, once it was together I was surprised that I had only paid $50 for such a great piece. One commenter mentioned the screws are too short however once they drop down into the holes prior to you screwing them in and they are the correct length.

I am not sure about all of the positive reviews. The ottoman base was difficult to put together since the holes are inside the legs and hard to screw in (see pictures). Also, the top/cushion underneath/bottom had no holes to screw it to the base AND the screws they provided were too short. How are we supposed to screw the cushion top to the base if there are no holes AND the screws are too short?!! Horrible design. See pictures. I am returning it.

This is a pretty nice looking ottoman. It goes well with a vintage danish modern lounge chair we already owned. It was a tiny bit hard to assemble - it required pounding some wooden dowels into pre-drilled holes, and it was a tight fit. On the plus side, the ottoman seems nice and stable.
