A: I have used the Ryze mushroom drink, sold on Amazon and added it to my home brew Starbucks coffee everyday for 6 months. Since this product has coffee listed as the first ingredient, I don’t believe this Target product is the same as og Ryze which is a product to be Added to coffee, or whatever beverage you choose.

A: No it is not. This is COFFEE with mushroom blend added. Original Ryze is not coffee, it’s a mushroom blend meant to be added to a beverage of your choice - water, tea, coffee, milk. Ryze is not coffee.

Barely 16 servings- Needs corrected to be accurate

I bought two single serving boxes, and recently finished the $17.99 20 serving size box. I love everything about the product! Bloating gone, and more energy for sure! But………Ryze does need to fix either the serving description, or add more product to actually be 20 servings. I kept tally marks on the package for each cup and used tbs to precisely measure. I received just barely 16 servings from the 20 servings package.

I really wanted to like this mushroom coffee, but unfortunately my experience was terrible. After drinking it, I developed horrible diarrhea and severe bloating. At first I thought maybe my body needed time to adjust, so I stopped taking it for two weeks and contacted the company about the side effects. Their recommendation was simply to reduce the dose. After the two-week break, I tried again with a much smaller amount, but from the very first day the bloating came back horribly. My stomach felt uncomfortable and swollen almost immediately. At that point I knew it was definitely the product causing the issue. I understand supplements and mushroom blends may affect people differently, but this experience was bad enough that I cannot recommend it. I wish the company had taken the side effects more seriously instead of just suggesting a lower dose.

Actually works.

Four days of drinking this for breakfast added into my protein shake and I already feel a massive difference. I have noticed the following: -decreased hunger -decreased anxiety -I was addicted to energy drinks and sodas. I now only crave water???? - mental clarity: nothing outstanding, but I definitely feel more able to complete tasks and I have the energy to do them. - energy is not like a caffeine high. It is like my body actually wants to move - decreased bloating Obviously something about this product is making me lean into healthier habits. I think the overall improvement in health habits is making me feel better. Taste: you definitely get an instant coffee taste with grainy texture. I don’t notice it when I add to protein shakes. I bought this online from their website for $22. I’m happy to see it is sold at target.

Taste improves with milk

Does not give me the acidity feeling or jitters like coffee does which I appreciate. Taste on its own is okay - kind of bitter. I add oatmilk and it substantially improves the taste.

I’m really trying to not be so excited about this product but I do it took away the bloating regular coffee gave me and I swear I feel way more clear headed. I’m purchasing my second bag because I just feel it’s way better than any coffee I was drinking previously. However like all other reviews it’s not 20 servings sadly. Wish they could at least fix that.

Beware !

On this particular purchase of 8 bags I did not receive the physical benefits that were previously noted on my previous purchases in February when I started it. These new bags are different. I contacted the manufacturer but they do not stand behind their products. I will definitely be seeking a different mushroom coffee in the future.
