I purchased these because of the color and was excited to try them out. They are true to color and have a velvety feel to them. I am not sure how well they would hold up to normal wear in the different weather conditions. I wear a normal size 9; however, these were a bit tight and narrow. They didn't slip on for me, I had to wiggle them on and use a shoe-horn (my thumbs :0). I decided to return them because there isn't any give with the material and I don't think they would be able to be worn in and stretched.
