Bitter, Bitter, Bitter
I've loved Sabra Hummus for years and there are only certain brands I'll buy because of the "off" taste some brands have. I recently purchased a singles pack of the red pepper hummus from Sabra and HOLY MOLY is it bad!!! I thought maybe it was a one-off so I tried another. I could barely eat it and kept thinking it was my tastebuds or the crackers I was eating it with... tried again for lunch just now, and nope. It's the hummus. It's so bitter it's like something is off - rancid oil used to make it? soap or something got into the machinery that made it? idk, but it's terrible. Highly disappointing from a brand that I've gone to for years and now it's on the list of risky hummus. :(

Simply Not Good Hummus
Sorry Sabra, not the review you or I hoped for. With each bite I was trying to figure out what was so wrong with it. Bitter? Weirdly tangy and rancid? Medicine-E? Not sure if the recipe changed, supplier of peppers had a career off day or if this is how it was supposed to taste. I hope you are able to correct this sooner than later.

incredibly disatisfied
actually the most DISGUSTING hummus i’ve ever had in my entire life. you’re better off trying to make hummus yourself from scratch—it’s only a few ingredients. so bitter and had a gross, tangy rank flavor. try another brand if you don’t wanna make it.

Unpleasant After Taste
As someone who loves hummus, this flavor was very disappointing. Maybe it was just the container I bought, but it had a very unpleasant aftertaste and I was only able to eat about 2 tablespoons worth before throwing the rest of it away. I will stick with the tapenade and roasted garlic versions in the future.

I am not a hummus fan. I am not a fan of spicy foods. HThat being said.. The original roasted red pepper hummus was the only hummus I have ever enjoyed. How I loved it. I can't say the same for the new version. This "new, more roasted red pepper" version is awful. It is far to sweet,and has no heat whatsoever. I am truly sad. Bring back the original recipe.

This is my favorite hummus. I enjoy Sabra hummus products and usually get either the classic or this one, the roasted red pepper hummus. Sometimes I eat this one with an actual sliced red pepper and use it to dip into the hummus. Delicious and a great snack!

Best Hummus
This is my favorite hummus!! I’ve tried the other flavors from Sabra and other brands and I just keep coming back to this one. The texture is perfect and the red pepper adds a great flavor.

WHY!
I have been buying the Good & Gather brand of Hummus, which is very tasty, and I only got this because it was a substitution. I remember Sabra being very good, but this stuff is awful. The bitter taste just ruins it. For a $1.30 less, the Good & Gather brand is an easy choice.

Bought red pepper hummus in small cup. So bitter I couldn’t eat it and expiration date is still weeks away. Disappointed-it wasn’t cheap!
