[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must for camping and hiking! We are planning on going to the cabins and we are taking this just in case we need it. I love that it has a glow in the dark safety; that is important especially if it needs to be used at night time. It also makes me feel safe that it sprays up to 40 feet. I would hate to spray this at an animal that so close to me in proximity for it to work. I would recommend this product.

It definitely gives me peace of mind knowing I have a backup solution in case we run into some wild animals. Fortunately, we haven't had to use it yet, so I can't speak to how well it deters an animal but it's definitely a product you want to keep around you when out in the wilderness. I love that it has safety features, so I know it won't accidentally be sprayed in my bag or at someone.

We did not have to use it against any creature thankfully but we did put it through a test run and this thing is awesome. It shoots a nice stream real far and just from the bit we got back from the wind this thing is brutal. I can definitely see it deterring any wild animal from charging at you and I would definitely recommend to anybody living out in the country or people who camp out in the wild.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you are in the country or even on vacation in a high bear or mountain lion area you want to have a good escape or safety plan in place. That’s where this came into play for us. Not only did it scare whatever was out there, we discovered it glowed in the dark for an easy quick find! But also shoots very far and very easy to aim and press one handed. It comes with the glow in dark safety latch that can be reinserted (as shown) to keep from it accidentally respraying when you don’t want it to. Make sure though before you spray it that your not facing the wind! You do not want this to wind up back in your eyes as it could cause serious eye problems or respiratory problems. It doesn’t weigh much and even with wrists that can be finicky like mine it was easy to hold one handed and utilize.
