These were meant to be grandparent car seats, so we did not expect top of the line features since they would not be used daily. Unfortunately we had to return both. We tried them rear facing and forward facing with both latch and seatbelt installation but in every setup the seats moved several inches in either direction. The looseness made them feel unsafe which completely defeated the purpose. The price was good but safety is non negotiable and we could not keep them.

We completely understand that safety is a top priority — especially when it comes to car seats, whether they’re used daily or occasionally. We’re sorry to hear that the installation felt loose despite multiple attempts. It’s important to note that when checking for a secure installation, movement should only be tested at the belt path area (where the seat is secured to the vehicle), not at the top or sides of the seat. It’s normal for the upper part of the seat to have some movement, but at the belt path, it should not move more than 1 inch side to side or front to back. That said, we understand that if the seat doesn't feel secure, it’s hard to have peace of mind. I bought this a month ago for my granddaughter. So glad I did, she looks absolutely comfortable in this seat. It's installed rear facing for now, and will be great when she is old enough for front facing, toddler and booster seating as well.
