Q: Is the mattress a breathable mattress?

The Slumber-and-Play Bassinet has many fine qualities, but a couple of the most notable features are the comfortable mattress with removable and washable cover and the breathable mesh sides allow for air flow and visibility to see your little one resting peacefully. Q: can i wash the mattress pad without damaging it?

A: Hello, thank you for reaching out to us with your questions! Per the instructions to wash the mattress cover, you will remove the mattress cover and handwash in cool water. You will use only mild detergent. The mattress cover will need to be air dried as well.

Q: what size sheets for the mattress?

A: Thank you for your question. As per instructions, the mattress comes with a removeable/washable cover and you should use only the mattress/cover from the manufacturer. The instructions also state if a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by the manufacturer or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of the bassinet mattress. Dimensions are 33'' L x 18.5'' W.

Definitely not a bassinet for a new born or a new mommy. The mattress pad isn’t the most comfortable, can’t wash it. My baby didn’t use this bassinet until he was 4 months old

Very unpractical! It is very low, during the nights I have to fully get up from bed just to check on baby - which can be 3 times every hour. The rocking is very strong to the point of unusable. I don’t recommend, I ended up returning and buying halo

For the price you honestly can’t beat it. Bassinet does seem kind of wobbly when in the “rocking” position but it does have a stationary option. I was worried about the sound machine not working based off a review I read, however, sound machine does work you just have to completely tighten the screws before trying it. Options are very basic but like I mentioned, can’t beat for the price. I didn’t like that Target didn’t have any bassinet covers/fitted sheets for this but I did find some on Amazon that worked perfectly.

I liked that this bassinet was a little bigger so I felt like maybe I could use it for longer as my baby grows up. But it's very low, so as a new mom I feel like I'm always startling my baby when I put her down. I don't feel like the pad at the bottom is very comfortable either. Maybe it'll be better as a play yard when she gets older, but I don't recommend this as a bassinet for a new mom.

It was easy to put together. As others have said, it bows a bit in the middle. Baby ends up sliding to one side or the other. The problem with this is that the sides are not completely mesh- the part where the baby’s face ends up is thick fabric.

I wanted to love this bassinet because it appears perfect, but it's got a list of problems I've been just dealing with. The first and most dangerous issue is that it's bowing when my baby lays in it. There's no support bar in the middle, so it's bowing inward while he's sleeping. Very scary as he gets heavier and hes only 2 months old. The floor pegs to keep it stable fold back into the legs every time you move it so there's no scooting it anywhere. And the rocking feature is more akin to thrashing on a boat in the middle of a hurricane. It just throws him to and fro so it's a useless feature. I've never been more disappointed in a purchase, and it's too late to return it.

This bassinet is super easy to set up, and I like that it can be used as a play yard. The fabric is nice, and the mat is super soft. Unfortunately, it doesn’t rock nicely, yet seems to move around a lot with baby. My 3MO tends to end up pressed against one side (the same side) all the time in the bassinet set up. The music player/light attachment is nice, but the music seems pretty high-pitched to me. I love the vibration feature though! It vibrates the bassinet just enough, and baby seems to love it.

I'd give it 5 stars if the rocker worked better but it is very awkward. I've read other comments saying the same thing but i took the chances. I think it's the way the frame is designed which makes the rocking motion so unsmooth. I might return and get a wooden cradle instead. what I do like about it is the size (description says 35" tall but it's really 27") it's also comfy for baby. I would have just liked for it to rock more smoothly. great look and size though. I recommend as still bassinet but not for the rocking option.

Easy to set up but quality is not great. It wobbles A LOT, even on flat, hard ground. We tried everything and it moves way too much. I wouldn’t recommend

This is not tall at all. The top of the bassinet does not even reach the bed height so that’s not very helpful with a newborn. Sound machine came broken. Will be returning.

I adore this bassinet! Very simple to assemble. It transforms from a bassinet to a play yard. Light enough to be moved around the house. This comes with a little night light/sound machine that can be clipped to the edge and can also vibrate for relaxing. Definitely recommend!

It looks nice and is cheap; however, my baby keeps waking up from it having an unstable bottom. Her startle reflex will shake the entire mattress/bed and regardless of a swaddle, will not go back to sleep. She's also rolled to the side of the bassinet with her arms and legs touching the net, even when starting out flay on her back, due to how unstable the mattress part is. Will be returning and finding a replacement for something much more sturdy. I tried the rocking function once and never again, as it rolled my baby side to side inside the bassinet- no matter how slow or gentle I rocked the bassinet.

Love this bassinet! Super easy to put together. Brilliant discovery- A king size pillowcase fits perfectly on the mattress if you want to put a sheet on it. I also bought a waterproof king pillowcase as a sort of mattress protector. The pillowcases are a couple inches longer than the mattress but I just fold it under the mattress when I put it in the bassinet. It’s very snug and perfect I also love the mesh sides and rocking feature

This is great! I love how it can grow with my child and that it doesn’t take up a bunch of space. It was very simple to put it together, it’s not heavy so it’s easy to move, and the color matches anything.

The online description says the bassinet has a weightl limit of 40lbs, but when it arrived, the manufacturer box clearly stated the weight limit is 20lbs. Had to return without even opening the box. Might be a great bassinet, but definitely not for those with an older/larger baby.

I absolutely love this bassinet. Its very sturdy and can for anywhere. It was so much easier having this next to my bed during night feedings instead of having to walk to the nursery. This made life with a newborn so much easier! I highly recommend!

These is easily a fave! I love how spacious the bassinet is and I love that I can transition it into the play yard for baby. The swing part is also so smooth and puts baby right to sleep. I def recommend!
