I love Saltair! I've been using Santal Bloom for a long time now and I love everything about it -- the smell, the consistency, how well it works, etc. So when I bought the Golden Hour (at a higher price point), I expected the same. But instead, the consistency is like water. It's the same as that Dr. Bronners' soap -- very watery. I like the scent of the Golden Hour but I do feel like it fades more quickly than the Santal Bloom. I haven't seen any other reviews about how watery this soap is, so maybe I got a bad bottle....

Don't believe the hype
Very disappointed in this product. It was my first time trying anything from this brand. Of course I wanted the whole line shower gel, shimmering body oil, body spray. There’s nothing golden about this scent. I’m a huge fan of pineapple coconut love it. I did not get any of those fragrances. This body wash says it’s infused with oil. I knew it was gonna be a problem when I tested it washing my hands and it rinsed off just like any other hand soap I’ve ever used. I decided to keep the shimmering body oil because it does shimmer however, the fragrance is just off for me if you’re looking for a moisturizing body wash that smells amazing this ain’t it!

Smells Great- Cleans Horribly
I’ve never left a review before, but I was so excited to try this body wash! The smell of it is amazing. But it does not lather well and when I got out of the shower, it was like I didn’t even wash my body! Sadly do not recommend this- unless you literally do not smell at all and can just rinse off with water lol.

Summer in a bottle
This scent definitely gives summer vibes. I bought all of Saltairs collection in the “Santal Bloom” scent thinking that would be my favorite because that’s what I typically lean towards. Then I ended up buying the lotion in the Golden Hour scent and it quickly became my favorite scent for summer. The scent lasts for quite a long time unlike most other body washes. Pair it with the lotion and you’re good for hours.
