Here is the information on the Samsung U7900F: ❌ Does the TV have an Optical Port? Based on the specifications for the Samsung 4K Class Crystal UHD U7900F LED Smart TV (model series U7900F): The TV does NOT feature a dedicated Optical Audio Out (Digital Audio Out) port. Samsung removed the optical port on this particular series (U7900F) to keep it an entry-level model, relying on newer connection standards. ✅ Can You Add a Device to Get This Port? Yes, absolutely! You have two main ways to connect a device that requires an optical port: 1. Use the TV's HDMI (ARC/eARC) Port with a Converter The U7900F has an HDMI port that supports ARC (Audio Return Channel). This is the best modern way to send audio from the TV to an external device. You need: An HDMI ARC Audio Extractor (sometimes called an HDMI to Optical Converter). How it works: Plug the converter into the TV's HDMI ARC port. Plug your soundbar or receiver's optical cable into the Optical Out port on the converter. Benefit: This method usually allows the TV remote to control the volume, as ARC transmits control data as well as audio. 2. Need more hdmi ports

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't have the connection for optical to conect your soround system and only has 2 port for HDMI that was unexpected but has the option to connect your sound bar via Bluetooth but when you turn off the TV the bar stays on in search for Bluetooth device to conect. Bummer

Unhappy delivery no picture its in my car.

They send me a 199.00 - 40 in Samsung and not the one I paid for 329.00 - (65in). So I had to call for ever to get a number for this mistake. Then I had to reorder just to have it on hold at the store. If I wanted to pickup a 65in TV I would have when I was in on the 30th just to be told they had none. Then delivered me the wrong TV. Really ppl Gas isn't cheap here. Not happy about all this. And now a 65 in at the store that's 399.00 and I have to pick it up and bring back the 40 in. Not happy at all.

Love It/But ...

I was so hyped to pick up my new TV after some movers damaged my 55 inch. The clarity of the screen is amazing especially when the Green Bay Packers score. Please configure a more sensible remote, the apps are a whole different discussion. Beware and make sure that you put the feet/legs on correctly because they do have yellow stickers that'll let you know where to put them. Also don't push too hard when placing those in because the entire back of the TV will come off! Good Luck

Disappointed in sloppy and unsecured delivery

As far as purchasing there was no issue as I purchased online. My problem is with the delivery. Granted this came from Target through FedEx. I live in apartment complex and my delivery information clearly states the address and my apartment number. My 65" Samsung television was dropped off in our unlocked mail room out in the open leaning up against the wall. And then I received an email saying it had been dropped off. No it had not been dropped off it had been left in a mail room. My expectations of delivery when you have my address is that you will drop it off at my address not in an open mail room for anyone to go in and gather up and take to their apartment. I do not understand the logic here and I'm highly disappointed and this is how delivery is handled. We can consider ourselves lucky that it was there when we went and checked. The email does not say where it was left it just says delivered we had to drive around to see if it was left at the wrong address. We feel this is very unprofessional and not very informative I doubt that I will ever purchase anything to be delivered again and maybe not even at the store if this is how things are handled. As I'm handicapped unable to get things this size for myself I had hoped that this would be something we could use to furnish our apartment with other needs but I don't know that this is an option that I can trust. Very disappointed. As for the item itself it appears to be OK we haven't opened the box yet.

Set up through Samsung was difficult. Multiple circuitous attempts before it accepted/updated passwords but the picture and size are great.

Poor delivery and exchange experience

I had ordered this tv on target online and the tv was delivered with a broken screen. Very bad delivery experience. Took it to target store for exchange and they processed a refund instead of exchanging with a new one. Now I don’t get the discount that I got on my original order. Not going to order this again because of the whole experience.

The perfect value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect TV for a family to put in the living room! Even though it's a lower price range Samsung TV, that doesn't mean it's low in quality. Samsung just doesn't do low quality. Colors are vibrant, picture is sharp, and blacks are deep. You almost can't tell the difference between the TV speakers and the soundbar (if you have one), A+ on the integrated speakers. Everything you need in a TV.
