kickstands broke in a few days well no big deal they sell replacement ones right. no they've advertised the replacement kickstands in cool designs but you still can't buy them 6 months after launch smh.

the 2 standing tabs on the back snap off on the 1st use. if you snap them back on they just snap right off. this is an expensive case the case and is completely useless for standing.

solid case to keep the phone safe and excellent grips. four stars for the first few months but the kickstand was a bit shoddy to begin with. my one-star is because the kickstand kicked the bucket and despite the heavy advertising on the product page for additional kickstands - there isn't a way to order any.

Misleading Image and Description

the image and description is misleading from what this product actually is. the image gives you a sense that the 'white' cover has an aluminum finish back while it's cheap transparent plastic back which looks yellow when you use it with a white s22 ultra. for a flagship model, this is a big letdown. i bought is assuming it will look like the one samsung had for s21 ultra. samsung could have put images that indicate this being a transparent plastic back and mention the same in the description too in addition, case is wobbly as well.

i can't believe how much hate this case gets. personally i think it's great. the kickstands are sturdy when you use them in landscape mode as pictured. no, it doesn't stand up very well in portrait mode, but it wasn't designed for that; nowhere does samsung ever show or describe it standing that way. i do wish the ridges were the same height as the kickstand so that it doesn't wobble when laying flat, but its not that big of a deal. other reviews say this is a fingerprint magnet... personally i can't see any of my fingerprints on it. maybe if i look really hard i can, but honestly it doesn't even matter to me. i have the white phone so maybe other colors show up differently. the case fits perfectly on the phone and it feels very grippy. i like this case!

I have owned the same case for the note 8 and the note 10. and this version is the worst. First, after four months, a thin layer of plastic has begun peeling off the back. Second, as others have noted, you can't really use the flash with this case. The clear plastic is reflecting the light back and it washes out the image. And finally, the white edges seem to absorb color from the material in my pocket. today they are red. if i wear blue pants tomorrow, the edges will be blue. Do not buy.

the white case looks disgusting after a couple of weeks. it picks up dirt from hands, dye from clothing, and lint from pockets. the corners and edges of mine are all yellow-brown from my hands and have dark blue stains from my jeans. do not buy white cases if they are made of silicon or other rubberized materials. they only look nice if you never touch them.

last year, this case model was a lot more protective and rugged. this year, the back is just a thin clear plastic. it doesn't have a silicone layer on the inside of the case like last year's model. not very protective for a case.

so full discretion this case was part of my free items for buying a new phone. this case is worthless. i have had this case for less than a month and i have to buy a new case. the case grabs every form of dirt possible, so the white edges are literally turning blue. use your promo points wisely and definitely don't buy this case.

compared to the s21 ultra protective standing cover, this year's edition is a letdown. it is grippy on the sides but unlike last year's model, there is no shock absorption inside the cover - it's just see-through plastic. i don't care that the cover doesn't lay flat on a table or that the tabs won't support the weight of the phone in a vertical position. drop protection is the most important characteristic a phone can have. i don't see this cover providing meaningful drop protection for my phone.

i bought this protective standing cover right after my s22 ultra purchase but within 2 weeks on the back it started peeling off. basically back side's clear parts started peeling off on bottom right corner. also white parts started changing color. i've tried to take photos of it as much as i could.

the case has a nice grippy, but soft edge and decent corners. it also isn't thick so it gives the phone a nice feel. however, because the back is clear, it gives a terrible glare when using camera flash.
