To ensure that your fingerprint sensor works reliably, follow these tips: Cover the entire sensor with your finger and hold the device in the same way as when you initially set up the fingerprints. Make sure both the scanner and your fingertip are clean and dry before scanning. If the sensor isn't recognizing your prints, try restarting your phone or tablet and using the fingerprint scanner again. Keep your device and apps up to date, and if necessary, remove and then re-add the fingerprints.
