why create a folding phone with a large screen and suppress the pen compatibility ???!!!

I've always had a Samsung phone since the galaxy S4. Soon as I purchased the fold 3, I fell in love with the folding devices. I had the the fold 4, 6 and the 7. The evolution of this device is amazing. It gets better every time. This Fold 7 is best phone I've had so far. Cheers Samsung.

I luv the functionality of it, it is like an extension of a computer, I can get my work done in no time in it!

Counterintuitively, it may be too thin. The lens sticking out makes it wobbly even in a case. I love the fact I no longer need to carry both my eReader and my phone. When open, it replaces my Kindle.

Phone is very smooth and well designed. Only need the pen feature back. I would take a thicker phone for that. Please make another version.

Start by I love this phone. Not really much bad to say. Camera only 30x zoom and it stretches apps to fit. Fast, reliable, and stylish.

Went from Z fold 6 to the Z fold 7 and what a difference. They've done it. Perfected the fold series.

Excellent and complete device, it's the better galaxy device I have owned, maybe a little bit more of battery size would be nice, but it's fine.

I have bought samsung exclusively for years and the fold devices since launch. The 7 is a bit of a disappointment as the touchscreen frequently does not respond. So sad, uggh do I need to switch phones? Not happy

Overall, I like the phone. The size is great, it is much slimmer and fits better in my hand. The Camera is excellent. The only down size is no S Pen support. Had I of known I probably would have passed on this update. I use the S Pen regularly and with a screen this size it only compliments it more. Samsung bring back the S Pen on the next model.

So far its been a great phone. I do wish it had a better camera but sometimes you need to make slight sacrifices to have such a super light and thin phone. I haven't used it unfolded much yet but I'm sure the more I play around with it I will take advantage of the inner screen and its features.

Using the translation feature with galaxy ai is underrated, i love being able to translate anything to English in seconds!!

The speed and responsiveness are unmatched, making it the fastest Fold I’ve used. The new slim design is a game-changer — no more “brick” feeling in the pocket, and it feels natural to carry around. It pairs seamlessly with my Galaxy Buds, Ring, and Ultra Watch, which makes the ecosystem experience smooth and integrated. The main foldable display is impressive, though the under-display camera cutout can still feel a bit obtrusive when watching full-screen content. The crease is noticeably reduced compared to the Fold 6, which is encouraging, but long-term durability remains to be seen with heavy use. Where the Fold 7 disappoints is in audio. The sound is surprisingly quiet, even at full volume, whether on calls or listening through earbuds. This is a step backward from the Fold 6, which had much stronger, fuller sound. Given the premium price hike, this drop in sound quality feels like a real trade-off and makes me question the overall value. That said, if multitasking is your priority, the Fold 7 continues to shine. Running multiple windows side-by-side, checking emails, and watching movies on the expansive display is exactly where this phone proves its worth. I do, however, still miss the S Pen especially for photo editing etc....

When I first opened the box and turned on the device, I was extremely impressed with the main screen and how thin the overall device is. I am a big fan of the biometric fingerprint scanner on the power button as well. It worked excellent. After having it for a day and a half I am returning it. The front screen for me is much too narrow and everything seemed very squeezed together. I bought it to be used as a regular phone but also to have increased productivity when needed to be opened for any sort of documents, reports, Excel spreadsheets, etc. yesterday when setting it up the battery drained fairly quick, but I attributed that to the extended setup process and how long I had the main screen open. Today just to be sure, I tested it out and found some significant battery related issues. I turned on battery saving mode as well as the dark theme and didn't allow any apps to run in the background. I strictly used the phone over Wi-Fi and had my other S25+ right next to it. Everything that I did on the Z-Fold I also did on the S25+ and never opened up the Z-Fold to use the main screen. After 3 hours, The z-folds battery was down to 68%. My S25+ still had 92%. All updates were completed before I did the comparison. When I opened up the battery setting it said that the biggest consumer of battery power was the One UI operating system. The newest one UI update isn't out yet for the S25+. So either there is a issue with the z-fold device itself and the battery consumption or an issue with the new operating system draining the z fold. Hopefully the S25+ doesn't have the same battery issue when it gets the new update. I was really hoping for the z-fold to be the big game-changer. If the main screen was wider and the battery issue didn't exist, this phone would be the best on the market, by far.
