[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this pen. It writes very smooth. It does not smudge either. I know that is one of the down falls of a gel pen. The mechanics were easy to use as well. The color is true to the description.

The pen retracted smoothly and also wrote smoothly but it streaked allowing for paper to appear messy; would not allow young kids to use as they would not understand to watch for streaks. I would probably not buy this particular pens over others.

It doesn’t hurt my fingers to write with and the fine point is great but the pen seems to be picky with my paper. It will write bold and slowly start fading and pick back up depending on where I write which definitely gets frustrating.

The gel ink is visible through it so you can see how much is in there. They retract very easily. The color is very deep black. You can clip it on to your pocket for easy holding. And you can refill these pens!!

The way this ink rolls out onto the paper is so smooth and just super easy and nice. No need to work about it giving out while in the middle of a signature.

I buy them by the bulk because at my house i have 2 teenager in highschool that loose or give away there pens like crazy. And this are one of there favorite. It's gel and black ink and is preferred by there teacher and them and it's retractable so they don't loose the top or get ink on clothes. This gel pen dry very quick and no bleeding on the notebook but also don't put to much pressure.

Also the ink also does not smudge on the paper. Smudging is usually a problem with gel pens but not with this one, the ink dries quickly. The look of the pen is aesthetically pleasing and fits comfortably in the hand. The quality of the pen is great and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I often have a problem when I use gel pens because I am left handed, my hand drags through what I had just written and makes a mess over my paper. So even though I love the way gel pens look when I write I stay away from them because they don’t dry fast enough. That’s why I was so excited to try these pens, because finally I can use gel pens that make my hand writing look so nice and my hand doesn’t end up full of ink and my paper doesn’t have ink smudged all over it. The ink dries fast! Also the point is nice and fine, it makes my hand writing look so nice!!

The ink glides smoothly but I prefer a slightly bolder point than this very fine pointed pen. It's a nice gel ink pen though with a great grip.

It is the perfect amount of inkyness and dries quickly without smudges. It does bleed with a cardstock type paper but it is wonderful otherwise. It has a comfortable grip and is pleasant in the hand. I keep this pen in my purse and it has not leaked or stained my bag. This the perfect pen for those that like a fine clean look. It glides nicely over the paper when writing. Overall, I am very happy with the product and it is my go to pen for taking notes or writing letters.

I have heard good things about the Paper Mate pens and I am thoroughly impressed. They write so smoothly and feel in my hand. I don't feel like I have to press too hard to write and the ink is smooth and dark. I highly recommend these pens. These are my new favorite pens and I highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pen and writes super smooth. No blotchiness which is an issue with some fine point pens. No skipping and ink is still going strong. Retractor had no issues at all and could open and close as needed. Overall great pen.
