Excellent tool for indoor riding

Overall great product to help simulate outdoor cycling. The only thing to consider is that when pedaling out of the saddle, the direction that the bike moves is actually opposite of what would happen over road, but while in the saddle, it does simulate it pretty well. The only other con is that no matter how much I tighten the straps I can't get my H3 Saris to NOT slide with hard efforts. It'll slowly shift to the left. My solution to that was to place a 1x1 block screwed into the whole to block the movement.
Very Realistic Road Bike Feel

I originally caught this back in 2019, but have only recently started using it in earnest. I wish I started using it sooner! Excellent design and realistic road bike handling feel. First few times mounting bike were unsettling due to side lean of platform. System very easy to lubricate & maintain with silicone cloth. I strongly recommend- well worth the price when used with a gps training platform like Tacx Trainer or Rouvy.
Great rocker plate. Super well made.

I love this rocker plate. It simulates riding on my outside bike and I can stay on my trainer longer. Great product.

The MP-1 is built with quality construction and totally changed the feel of indoor cycling. I can’t believe how sitting motionless on a trainer can be seen as fun. The ability to move, shift, rock and be mobile adds to the benefits of training and increases the time spent in each session.

I can't say enough good things about my MP1. I'm a engineer and was initially considering making my own rocker plate system... After a bad crash, I didn't have the time to build and decided to buy the Saris so I could start rehab ASAP. Honestly, I was concerned that I'd end up feeling like I spent too much money on this thing for what it does. Well, after several years of use, it's like new and performs flawlessly. If you can afford it, I'd recommend absolutely going for it! You'll love it. I do! (using Tacx Neo 2T).

This is the best rocker platform available. Not stupid inflatable balls to burst or reinflate. Nice smooth motion in use. Very quiet. Some people have whined about the side rollers developing flat spots. Replacements are available here and are easy to replace. To be expected with normal use. Someone else whined about rust developing in some areas after exposure to a salt water bath. To be expected if one can't control one's sweating. This is a well designed product. If you want the best, this is it.
Surprisingly cool!

I didn’t think this was going to be so awesome. But it is. Definitely feels more like being on a bike. And I can’t flail like I could on a turbo trainer. It’s not quit rollers-level balance required, but it’s more than zero.

Purchased the MP1 about 1 month ago. Prior to that my trainer was on a solid surface. I would occasionally experience some lower back and knee pain. After installation pains disappeared almost overnight. Installation was very simple. Getting on and off the bike while on the MP1 does present some challenges. A small step stool helps.

Been riding it for about a month. It’s been inside weather for while and was surprised how much it actually feels like outside riding when I it out the other day. The best thing is it has gotten my wife back on the bike. Comfort is a big deal on stationary bike trainers and the MP1 eliminates the butt-only suspension of static trainers. Riding longer with much less squirming!
More movement and less pain!

I have spent a lot of time on the trainer since my first child was born 9-years-ago, and I have always been looking for ways to make it more enjoyable. I still prefer the trainer over the open roads in Texas for time efficiency and safety, but it can be really boring at times and cause some over use injuries. I finally decided to get the MP1 about a month ago after having some more shoulder and neck issues. I'm now wishing I did it much sooner! The movement changes everything and engages so many more muscles. It keeps everything from getting stiff and sore while sitting still up top. Plus, if you are doing a long steady session you can stand up and rock side to side for fun! For videos on my experience and some more photos check out my Instagram account, @DonutEndurance.

Some of my friends think this is a bit pricy, but it is worth every penny. Not only does it give you as close to a sensation of riding outside as it it can, but on longer training rides you are able to stay more relaxed in the saddle because everything is not so tight. It helps on sprinting as well. I do most of my training inside even during the season, in order to prepare for my crit races. I do ride outside, but that enables me to employ more strategy when I am riding outside rather than focus on intervals, etc. Other than the trainer itself, which is a Saris Hammer, this is the best purchase I have made....I would recommend it to anyone that does work on the trainer.

Bought the MP1 a week ago, have 400km on it this far, including a one time 120km on the trainer. Natural movement with me, less leg fatigue on endurance rides, not static on the saddle, less saddle soreness, more muscles involved. This is a game changer for indoor training and a life changer for me. I have a Cervelo S5, a Cervelo P2 and a Specialized Roubaix.. all are going to go on this at some point!! Well Done "Saris" Well Done

The first one arrived with a cracked rear roller, so make sure you check those right out of the box. There are two pairs of them mounted above and below the two curved rails that support fore/aft motion. The replacement was good to go and I love it. What surprised me is how little of the available motion I use typically, but what a huge difference it makes. I sit pretty still, but even small movements make a big difference in terms of comfort in the saddle. We are in for a long, cold winter here in Minnesota, but now I can put in the kilometers pain-free (butt-wise anyway). Thanks Saris - awesome product.
Amazed how much movement there is

I wanted so sort of rocker plate to make interval sessions over 1hr more comfortable. Went with the Saris vs something cheaper as this looks engineered to last a long time. After first few weeks of riding still surprised how much movement there is in the saddle. Only a little forwards/backwards, left/right but it's always. Low revs and high power you see even more. And as for the actual goal....longer rides are now easier on the body
good product, but could still be improved

The Saris Platform makes indoor training more realistic and more comfortable... Straps do not block a TACX Neo, there is still some play. The platform is a little bit narrow on the front so the sweat of the arms falls on the ground and not on the platform. No protection of the platform under the chain, so the lubricant the lubricant may contaminate the platform.

Told my non-cycling friends it was a hoverboard. Amazing build quality and sure will last. It's not light so unpack it where you want it. I thought the board would magnify the noise, but it doesn't seem to.

The MP1 changed my indoor training experience. Training sessions and longer Zwift races are completed without pain or numbness. The longest ride on the MP1 was a vEverest. The platform moves from side and also backwards and forwards.

I have had multiple rides on the MP1 platform and it has been comfortable, relaxing, and a lot of fun! The movement allows the ride to be much more comfortable so I can ride in a relaxed aero position much longer. This makes the ride a blast!

With a busy office and family schedule, I wanted the choice to do early and late night rides. Bought the H3 and started logging miles. Never could make it much beyond 1.5 hours before numbness made me stop. Added the MP1 a week ago. Game Changer!!! Can push 2-3 hours now. I may not go back outside.
