Book Synopsis
It's not just people who say "hello"--animals do, too!
In this playful story, animals from all over the world show off the unique ways they say "hello." From belugas' fin shakes and tongue clicks to fiddler crabs' waving claws to armadillos' unrolling to say "hi," these clever, creative animal greetings encourage young readers to emulate each animals' gentle movements and to experiment with different ways of greeting one another. This inviting, colorfully illustrated collection of ways to say hello fosters play and curiosity about the natural world while alleviating children's anxiety about greeting new people.
