I haven't had one to break on me yet but the only downside that I did have was some of the bows would pull my daughters thicker hair and it was hard to get out but those were only like the gold ones. I also liked that they matched hair color and skin tone.

With these, my hair doesn't get tangled at all. While I still prefer my bigger scrunchies these are great also. I'll still be using these from time to time, mainly when I'm only putting up part of my hair. I love the colors that these came in, neutral, earth tones that blend in with my hair amazingly. No one even knows I'm wearing these.

They haven't pulled apart yet. They are a little two tight/small. I have thin hair and it is hard to get it wrapped around a couple times. I'd like the stronger hair ties but a little bigger.
