Description
Schlage door handle set, series: Plymouth F60, accent, suitable for use with: 36 - 44 mm door thickness, key number: C5, 60 - 70 mm backset, grade: 2, die cast zinc, bright Brass. The Plymouth single cylinder handle set and accent lever in bright Brass is perfect for use on exterior front doors. The accent lever is widely popular for its elegant wave-like design that effortlessly matches a room’s style without overshadowing it, while Plymouth trim’s oval shape and straightforward design looks especially classic. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This satin brass door handle is absolutely beautiful. The color is rich and modern with a soft satin finish that looks even better in person. It adds a classy touch to any door. What really sets it apart from other brands is how well the internal parts are made. Unlike competitors with cheap, hard-to-turn mechanisms, this one works smoothly and feels solid. You can tell it’s made to last. Easy to install, great to use, and looks amazing I highly recommend it!

First one lasted 10 years (5 years too long!)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is he second one I’ve had. The first lasted about 5 years then the thumb lever wouldn’t open the door. The latch got jammed inside the mechanism. I lived with it for about 5 years. Easy enough to go out the door but getting back in was a challenge. You had to really want it to wiggle the thumb and use about 30 lbs pressure lever. Today I finally replaced the old one and was going to upgrade, but that’s when I discovered that the screw at the bottom of the exterior handle is in a different place for each manufacturer. Also, local locksmiths can’t get just the lock mechanism. You have to buy the whole handle set. So that’s why I got another Schlage. All the holes lined up and I could simply switch out the hardware. Hopefully this one will last longer than 5 years before going wonky.

Impressive

Nice quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my front door lock which was from a different company. This lock set from Schlage is noticeably better and operates much smoother when pressing down the thumb lever and or turning the inside door handle. I'm glad my other lock broke and i had a chance to replace it.

Easy to install

It took some time and was more difficult than the instructions on the box said but since i have never installed one i figured it would be harder than advertised so overall i would say it issrelatively easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Are used to replace the door handle and it was very easy to do and I like that the screws are accessible if I ever need to change it again. I did use a little bit of graphite lubricant.
