Scotch-Brite Odor Resist Non-Scratch Dishwand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and recently the company sent me a free sample of the Scotch-Brite soap control odor resist non-scratch dish wand. I love the dish wand to clean my dishes; it is easy to hold, easy to fill with dish soap and it dispenses just enough dish soap with the push of a button. It works great on my non-stick pots, pans and glassware. I also love the fact it has a built-in food scraper at the top. The dish wand is able to stand upright on its own for drying and storage, but I store mine next to the sink in soap caddy for easy access. I have had no issues with odors on the dish wand. Also, you can buy replacement scrubbers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Scotch dishwand makes dish cleaning a breeze. Pressing the back of the handle dispenses soap directly onto an item, and the tip of the handle has a built-in scraper to clean any stubborn spots. The base of the handle allows the wand to stand upright so that it takes up less space and the dishwand can air dry easily. Additionally, the handle is long enough so that it can be used on deep items such as my daughter's water jug. I have yet to change out the sponge but think it will be easy, too. I received this item free from 3M for evaluation.

Its feature of having no odor and continuing to remove dirt is perfect. It can be used on most surfaces without affecting them. It saves soap, which is very useful because you only use what you need. It stands upright without spilling any soap. I highly recommend it. I received the product free from 3M.

The wand is easy to refill and a generous amount of soap is dispensed when the button is pressed down.

I also like the built in scraper because it really comes in handy getting off the tough gunk. I like it best on plates. It works for cleaning any hard surface and you don't have to get your hands messy. I have not had an issue with odor either. So far so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed trying out 3M's Scotch Brite Soap Control Odor Resist Non Scratch Dish Wand. It is great for cleaning dishes, glassware and non stick pans, or any delicate surface that may scratch with harsher scrubbers. It did a thorough job on my ceramic casserole dish that was a mess after having scalloped potatoes in it and the low profile scrub dots did not hold onto any food, unlike other fuzzy ones that were nearly impossible to rinse clean. I was able to put the head and wand in the dishwasher to sanitize as both are top rack safe, thereby extending the life of the product, which I appreciate. This item also contains an agent that protects the product from odors; however please note it does NOT protect against food borne illness and must be cleaned thoroughly after each use. The only issues I had were the following: lack of scrubbing power and the soap dispenser. I had to soak the casserole dish before using the product as I noticed any baked on areas were not coming off with this item alone. I had to use another more powerful scrubber to treat those spots. Also, I would suggest applying soap directly to the sponge and skip the wand dispenser. The soap release button should be in another area as I kept hitting it by mistake as I cleaned because it was exactly where the grip is. Secondly, there was a backwash of water into the handle, diluting the dish liquid and creating an unsanitary situation. Overall, the product is good for cleaning delicate surfaces as long as these issues are kept in mind. The handle is clear, so easy to see how much soap left. It has a flat end to it, so it stands upright, easy to grab when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using this product because it is compact enough to not take up much space under the sink, but big enough to get the job done. I prefer to use it to clean the sink: it’s efficient and handy to not have to add soap as I go, and it can get in the smaller, hard to reach areas. The sponge is rough enough to scrub hard, but doesn’t leave scratch marks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this new scotch dish scrub brush, but I was majorly disappointed. The only positive is the initial look is clean and inviting. That’s where the good stops. Once you fill it with soap it does not dispense evenly, it’s too heavy so it gets easily knocked over when setting it on the counter, plus it drips water everywhere. Lastly it’s too big at the base of the handle to store in my normal dish wand holder that goes in the sink so my only choices are to let it drip on the counter or lay it in the sink ( which doesn’t make me feel good about it drying out and not staying clean between washes) after using. Would not recommend

But I found out that this aswo words great in the shower! Just put body wash in. Handy for the feet and other places old shoulders don't like to bend to reach

I used it on my pans and dishes, it removed the stuck on food immediately, and the food did not remain in the scraper. Once I finished washing the dishes I was able to place it upright on my dish caddy for drying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome product that scrubs clean, and doesn’t have food and smells stick to it. I love the soap dispenser built in, AND IT STANDS UPRIGHT BY ITSELF! So much easier doing dishes these days than my grandmother had.

Standing tall on your counter when not in use, this handy wand almost magically holds your soap until you release it - with a quick touch of a button - to free you of kitchen messes. The antibacterial scrubber head almost makes cleaning your dishes fun, while helping to prevent non-fun odors. While making the scraper a bit larger and more pronounced would be my preference, the addition of instructions on how to change the scraper would be beneficial. When done with use, simply drop your wand in the dishwater to clean and sanitize it for your next battle!

We live in an old farmhouse with a tiny kitchen and no room for a diswasher, making dishwands a must! This new self standing one lets the water drain from it without having to lay it at the back of the sink where it makes a mess! My whole family loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previous versions of this product and continue to use this product in my kitchen. I do like the ability to take off the sponge head and replace it with a new one, extending the life of the product. I have to admit that I didn't realize the plastic lip near the back side of the sponge was meant to be a scraper. I could have read the product info to figure that out, but that was never obvious to me in using another version of this product for years. I sometimes have trouble getting dish detergent to squeeze from the reservoir to the sponge head, but I have that same problem with every version of this kind of cleaning wand from every brand. Overall, I find this a very useful kitchen cleaning item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a big fan of dish wands like this. They make washing dishes so much easier and keeps your hands out of the dishwater. This one in particular is great because it's made to be gentle for more delicate or special dishes. I don't worry about anything getting scratched with the softer scrubber and it still gets all the food and grease off dishes easily. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwand features a non-scratching spongehead that doesn't aggressively scrub but still has good cleaning power, The wand has a large soap capacity, although the soap-dispensing "button" on the handle isn't really a button, more of an indentation.

It's easy and convenient for me to use. It safe for most surfaces, resists odors, rinses clean. It also allows me to control the amount of soap, it stands up, and has a built in scraper!

The handle has a slightly weird angle, which makes it great for cleaning flat dishes like plates and bowls, but not so much for getting inside cups or narrow containers. Still, it definitely does the job for everyday dishes. And it does it in style, lol. I really love that the scrubber is purple (that’s my favorite color) and it adds a nice pop of personality to something so simple. The scrubber has little textured edges that help loosen mild residue, though they’re not tough enough for heavy-duty scrubbing like on pans. It’s definitely for standard use, not heavy duty stuff. The clear handle is a big plus since you can easily see how much soap is left, and it actually holds a decent amount. It also suds up really well, which I appreciated. The cap for refilling the soap pops off easily when you need it to but stays securely in place otherwise, so it feels well-designed in that sense. If I could change one thing, it would be the angle. It feels a little awkward at times…but that’s more of a personal preference. I might grab another one with a different angle for bottles or cups. Overall, though, I’ve really enjoyed using it. It’s a fun, practical switch from a regular sponge!
