BLADE SIZES: The he blades come in three different sizes. Rigid Blade is 7-1/2" with handles 8-1/2". Wavy Blade 6-1/2" with handles 7-1/4". Flexible Blade 5-3/4" with handles 7-1/4".
TIPS or using the Sculpey Tools Clay Blades: When creating with clay it is always easier to cut your bar into sections instead of working with the whole bar at one time. Use the long rigid blade for sectioning bars of clay, making straight cuts or trimming the edges of a mokume gane slab. When slicing off the top layers of a mokume gane slab use the flexible blade as this gives you the most control since you only want to take thin layers off of it. The flexible blade is also great cutting curved shapes in slabs for jewelry or clay veneers.

I purchased the Sculpey Tools Clay blades over 3 years ago. I have used them almost on a daily basis and they are still going strong. To say I'm impressed is an understatement but I'm impressed! They have not rusted or broken and they are almost as sharp as the first day I got them. I definitely got my money's worth. I will definitely be recommending this product to my followers!

Decent blades, they get the job done.

Works Amazing for big and small projects!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE these blades. They work really well, and pick up clay from large slabs to small delicate pieces. Really convenient removable handles allow for easier usage. Would recommend using these blades on a surface meant for clay. I have been using these for around 4 months and they are still very sharp. Sculpey must have!

The New Design Is A Great Improvement
I love the new design, with the handles on each blade. They've also been shortened from the original set, making them easier for me to manage them, while still being longer than the 6-inch blades offered generally. I would recommend these blades to beginners and advanced clayers.

Works well
I was skeptical of these blades at first not certain if they could slice through the toughest of clay, but I was wrong. These blades slice through it all with no struggle or strain. I am beyond happy I got these to make clean cuts and I appreciate the little finger holds on each side.
