Buyer Beware

Ordered on April 25th, arrived and returned on the 29th. First and foremost, I’d like to say I’ve used these machines many times before on an industrial scale, and I loved the idea of a compact vacuform machine for my small work area. With this one being advertised for candy mould making I thought it would be well made and safe. Fresh out of the box, the heating implement is scuffed and rusted. Not only does this mean the plastic will not heat evenly; making the mould fail; but you’re also contaminating a mould that can’t be used for food or otherwise as the rust could make people sick, and react poorly with whatever else you’re pouring in there. I’m returning and ordering another with hope that the next one is rust free. Will update with another review as soon as the second one arrives.
