It is too smokey and bitter for my taste buds. Which at times is okay, but add to that the lack of body and real flavor. Basic coffee at best with no warmth to the soul when you drink it. It has a smooth taste and is just the right amount of strong. It has a nice flavor for an unflavored coffee. The directions say to use 1 tablespoon per 6 ounces of water but I use 1 tablespoon for 10 ounces of water. That tastes good to me. I love that their breakfast blend is medium roast; most breakfast blends are a light roast, which I don't care for. This roast is the perfect strength for my morning cup of coffee. Smells amazing from the bag and wakens my senses while it's brewing. I've used in a reusable kcup and I've made drip coffee in a pot and both came out great! A new favorite!
