Q: This seem to be a great sensitive body lotion! However, the number 3 ingredients petrolatum is highly irritating to sensitive skin which in my experience nullified the title. Can it be removed?

A: Any time we get any procedure done at the Dermatologist's office, all the healing treatments involve petrolatum jelly.

It is inert, it doesn’t change in the skin nor does it bind to proteins. It is one of the most effective, safe, tested & proven treatments in the world for skin irritation, moisture retention & healing (including post surgical) It is the base of countless pharmaceutical treatments which have much stricter regulations than cosmetics.

They left out the “I” in isopropyl palmitate in the online ingredient description, a known pore clogger to convince you to buy. Don’t! Major pore clogger. Check the labels before you take the product home. Checking the online description is not enough. Very misleading.

I never tried the old formula people are mentioning so I can’t compare but I love this lotion! Fragrance free stuff can smell so bad but this one is truly neutral to me. It’s almost like a body milk and rubs in so nicely, I will definitely repurchase. Absolutely cannot beat the price and might replace Naturium for me long term.

Smells like sourdough bread.
This lotion does not absorb as well as the ultra healing lotion they used to make under this brand. Additionally, this “fragrance free” lotion actually smells like sourdough bread, so if you want to smell like bread, I advise you to buy. I myself am not enamored with smelling like sourdough.

I get what people are saying, this can go on sticky but I use it after my shower at night and the stickiness doesn’t last too long. It helps to apply when skin is damp. I have found that it does help my dry skin to be more hydrated and smooth. The smell is a little medicinal but doesn’t bother me. I love the ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Overall I think it’s definitely worth the money for me.
