Naoto Takayama has always been loco for locomotives and dreams of sitting in the big cab up front. When he's accepted to the Rail Training Academy, he hooks up with Haruka and Aoi, two well-engineered young women he already knew, and a beefy guy named Sho, and they turn out to work so well together that their trainee tickets are upgraded to on-the-job training on a very different career track: security! But at least Naoto still gets to blow a whistle, and there's always something interesting going on... even if that may mean something life-threatening like train robbers, thieves, and bomb threats, as they all keep working on the railroad, all the live long day, in RAIL WARS!
