I'VE been looking for barstools for 6 months for my son but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. The piece of wood you'll use as a footrest is in the PERFECT spot! They were fairly easy to put together. My only complaint is that one or two of the four we bought came slightly damaged with nicks. It's nothing anyone will probably ever notice, and I was too beat down by the endless barstool shopping to attempt an exchange. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. They look and sit very nice. I think the price was better than most, but a little high nonetheless.

Disappointed
I was very disappointed in the quality of these stools. The cross bars did not line up properly after assembling them per the instructions (which were not very helpful) and the legs wobbled. It was also very difficult to get on and off of them. Unfortunately, I returned them and I'm back to square one.

Pretty Perfect
We'd been looking for barstools for months but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. I love the ladder back look of these and they are the perfect height for our kitchen counter--42". The piece of wood you'll use as a footrest is in the PERFECT spot! They were easy to put together, and you could do it alone. My only complaint is that one or two of the four we bought came slightly damaged with nicks. It's nothing anyone will probably ever notice, and I was too beat down by the endless barstool shopping to attempt an exchange. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. They look and sit great, and like everything at Target, were more affordable than the other places I checked.
