Set of 2 Hassell Wood Dining Chair - Threshold™

Love these chairs!! I was a little nervous to get them based on some of the reviews but overall am very pleased. This is the only furniture I’ve ever purchased online that was basically completely assembled! The only assembly is 6 screws to attach the legs to the chair part. The fact that these were nearly completely assembled should speak to the high quality of the chair. They have a good weight to them and are very sturdy. I purchased a set of 4 in black and all were perfect. No cracks or chips anywhere. Chairs overall are heavy and feel expensive. The seat part is normal height, I think the other reviews that mention these being “short” is referring to the seat back. The seatback only sits about 4-5” above the tabletop which is fine with me. The seat height and depth are standard and perfect. Really pleased and highly recommend!

2 out of 6 have splits in the wood. Can't replace them because they are never in stock. Otherwise we really like them.

These chairs are much more comfortable than I would have thought. It doesn’t require a cushion as some wooden chairs do. They’re on the smaller size but that works for my 48 inch round table; I’m hoping to buy two more so I need them to come back in stock :) Only con is that there is a hairline crack in two of the seats but it’s small and not noticeable.

I love my Hassell chairs, there are just what I was looking for. They are well built, sturdy and classic. I need 2 more so I am hoping they are not gone for good.

I was eager to receive these dining chairs, based on the reviews; however, I will be returning them. I found the “natural” color to be more of a gray-ish wood tone than what I’d envisioned, and found the design to be lacking in comfort compared to other wooden dining chairs we have, which I am looking to replace. In my opinion, the chair back needs more curvature to be comfortable. That being said, they do seem to be solid and sturdy chairs. I got them on sale, so for the price they are not a bad deal - just not what I was hoping for.

They came a little dirty but we so far are really liking them! Very stylish - exactly the look I was going for.

I’m shocked by these chairs. First, they took just minutes to put together. Then, they are sturdy, very heavy (in a good way) and absolutely stunning. I have 4 wild boys and we host family gatherings very often. Even with all the chaos in my house, they have never faltered. They don’t chip, they don’t tip over. They’re perfect. I get compliments on them all the time and people assume they’re much more expensive.

Easy to put together. Stylish and seem durable so far with kids. Great price and perfect fit for my smaller table. Only negative three out of six are somewhat wobbly even with using the adjusters on the front legs.

These are wonderful chairs, easy to assemble and look great in most any decor. So far they have held up wonderfully to a 2 and 4 year old, we are really happy with the quality and the price we paid.

I bought six of these in black. They are very sturdy and smoothly painted. I assembled them all during my babies' morning nap time. The front legs have adjustable feet! I could have spent twice as much and been equally satisfied. Great value!!

I searched high and low for black solid wood chairs for a decent price. I have young kids and didn’t want anything too fancy. These are working very well for us. They are comfortable, sturdy, and really attractive. I think they look and feel more expensive than they are!

I haven’t had them long, but they were super easy to assemble! They’re heavy and sturdy! And Beautiful! I love them!! Super happy with my purchase!
