Q: How much light would you say these 'blackout' curtains block? 100%? 70%? 50%? Less? I'd like curtains that can really darken a room, thank you.

A:Â The light filtration will mostly depend on coverage. We recommend purchasing 2-3x the rod width for proper fullness and light blocking. If so, these should make significant impact on blocking all light.

These curtains are super cute! Nice silky feel and gorgeous design. They feel thick, but don’t completely blackout the room, which I don’t mind. I do like the metal rings on top! Makes them look extra fancy and expensive! I have the shorter ones FYI

Beautiful curtains but I was looking for blackout. They filter light but are not blackout. I bought for bedrooms on east side of our house. We have blinds and even with them and the curtains, the light filters through which is not good at 5 am!

Super soft! The material is heavy, but soft so they don’t wrinkle like some curtains do, these hang nicely. They do block a large amount of light. I can’t say they are 100 percent room darkening but they do a nice job.

They are super cute in person! The color is spot on and they definitely help with combatting the heat from the window. They are a little heavy but they don’t overload the curtain rod.
