Stakmore Set of 2 French Cane Folding Chair Cherry Solid Hardwood, Padded, Fully Assembled

The wood and wood finish is very nice and the matching scalloped edge folding are a beautiful compliment. The folding mechanism is very strong and well designed. The only concern is the cane backs. While very attractive, there are some sharp edges where the cane was looped back on itself to lock it in. I used a finger nail clipper to trim them back as I was concerned they might snag a sweater or loose knit garment.

I only needed one chair, but I love them both. After Hurricane Harvey we have had to move into a small space of 250sq ft till we can fix our home. I ordered these chairs as a solution to our tiny space. And man they are nifty. They are not easy to unfold the first time, but once u get the hang of it then ur set. I love the old style backing on it. Reminds me of chairs my Gma owned when I was little. But the style is nice and it’s real wood. So I’m happy we found these. More reason why I love Target.

I ordered 4 of these chairs for our motor home because I wanted chairs that could be stowed away when not in use. These look better than the original dinette benches and fold up compactly. The quality is outstanding, chairs are solid with a nice looking finish and padded seats. They look great with my existing table and cabinets. My only slight complaint is that they sit slightly higher than I would like. Overall an excellent purchase.

I purchased four of these chairs at Christmas time and liked them so much I ordered four more before Easter. Although it is somewhat confusing on how to open and fold them up again when you receive them, it is quite simple after you have done it. The chairs are well made and look great with my dining room cane chairs.

I'd read other people's reviews before I decided on these chairs to go with the matching table with scalloped edges. They also appeared to be the most comfortable for my back. WOW, was I ever even more pleasantly surprised when they arrived--with their little red dot on neutral upholstered bottoms! They were, however, difficult to pry apart: if you're spatially challenged, be sure to get someone to help you. They now sit pretty, neatly tucked against each other, under the scalloped edged table (which is also a joy; and much easier to assemble). I'm praising this little ensemble to one and all. Target has been my favorite store for a very long time now. One more reason to shop with you: your furniture! Indeed: your splendid and attractive folding furniture. Thanks so much!

These chairs are so pretty. Just what I need when I have extra people visit for dinner or bookclub. The only drawback was getting them open so I doubt I'll be folding them much. They would probably be easier to fold and unfold after a time or two. However they are pretty enough to just leave open.I bought 2 and liked them so well, I bought 2 more.eja
