nice quality, but you can see the round spots where the machine deposits glaze. also, this particular set of pasta bowls came with a very thin glaze so the effect was rather gray, rather than the nice clean white as depicted in the stock photo. I appreciate the quality (nice weight and lovely carved edges) and the bowl is smaller than I anticipated, which I kind of like. pasta bowls seem to be getting bigger and bigger, so nice to see one that's more reasonably sized fory taste. I do wish this set came with a cereal bowl, as not everything feels appropriate for a dinner plate, pasta bowl, or salad plate. I'm going to try reordering or hopefully choosing some in store. I am including a picture of this bowl next to the dinner plates, you can see the noticeable gray in the bowls. even the dinner plates are not as white as they should be.
